Hi friends, My full name is Ashish Samwill David. I was wondering if my full name would be considered while calculating my name's numerological estimate. Coz I think someone once told me that its just the first and last name that matter and not the middle name. Also if someone could give me some information about my numerological estimate, Id be very glad as Im not sure about how to come about it. Thanks. Ashish. IP: Logged |

Unless you use the middle name constantly (as in Sally-Anne), then you only base the calculation on first and last names. Fortunate numbers can make us lazy and unproductive, while some of the more challenging numbers can lead to great success through lending motivation and hard work. I say this, because your number is a 16. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum2/HTML/000304.html What is your birth number? ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." The way I was taught numerology, and also what I think makes more sense, is that you take all your names into account. It is the full name that counts. The system I use take all names (numbers) into account, and I also look at how they relate to each other, and to the birth number. So I would say that you look at all three names. The number they add up to, when you take the single number for each name, is to me anyway, an indicator of what the result of having these names is. I sure hope my English is understandable - I'm used to talking about this in Danish..Good day, all... IP: Logged |

In Pythagorean numerology, you ewould use all three names. Linda adhered to the Chaldean method, which omits the middle name. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Hi RandallThe method I use is Chaldean, and fits in everyway with the method Linda Goodman describes in her book; which is based on Cheiros books and a book by Sepharial - kabbala of numbers. Cheiro used Chaldean numerology, and Sepharial book is mostly about Pythagoras. Yet these two books, especially the last, are the ones LG refers to as her sources in her book Star Signs. The reason why we use all names, is that it is the name that is registered that counts most. It also makes more sense. If it was what we calles ourselves, og was called by others, it would give other people tremendous power over our lives. They could chose to call us something not good. As I mentioned before, I use a diagram when I do charts, and in this diagram it is possible to do the numbers/energy month by month. And my, and a lot of other numerologists experience tells us that these energies are more accurate when we use all names given to us. So I'm sorry, but I disagree a little with you. What is your birth number, Randall?? Hugs from Denmark IP: Logged |

I'm a 19 birth and a 23 name. Nothing wrong with disagreeing with me. My take on it is that the name used most often carries the highest vibration into the ethers, so unless the middle name is frequently spoken or thought of in relation to you, it carries little weight. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Hi Prince-o-Heaven! And hi guys! Here's a tiny bit of my astrology-numerology "onion": I think the full birth name is kinda like the sun sign, it's the REAL you, while your fequently-called name (ie first name, nickname) may be your ascendant. As for the birth number, it should equal your moon. What do you think? Also, I read that our single birth number should be the same with the reduced number of your full name in order to bring harmony. Is it true?------------------ cUrE with cArE =^+^= IP: Logged |

Well.. According to the system I use, it is often that the harmony is there when the name number reduced is the same as the reduced birthnumber. But that could be the way things appear to others. If you for example is a 7 person, it is not very fortunate that your name reduces to 16/7. But people around you will see the harmony because what you have inside, will be the same as the energy you project out. If you know what I mean... Interesting stuff about the sun sign etc. You may be very much on to something... IP: Logged |
