Hiya Guys I dunno if this question belongs here but I was wondering if anyone had read the 'Conversations with God' books by Walsch (I think that is how you spell his name)...I started reading them about three days ago and i got this intense feeling that they were rubbish - for want of a better expression. They just don't seem to gel with me... Does anyone else have an opinion please? Thank you Nebel ------------------ If you want to view paradise - simply look around and view it! IP: Logged |

I have not read them, but the story of The Little Soul and the Sun comes from one of them, and it is the most Enlightening thing I have ever read. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Yes, I read them some time ago and parts of the books really hit home and other parts didn't. So as Linda used to say, "Take what works for you and leave the rest." Personally I think who/what he was "talking" with was his "higher self". I have seen NDW interviewed several times and he is a very peaceful and kind man. Whatever helps him accomplish that has to be worth something! And I agree with Randal about the story of the Little Soul and the Sun. What a wonderful parable that is!! IP: Logged |

After I first read it (on Greg's site), I remember thinking how wonderful a children's book it would make (with beautiful illustrations). Little did I know at that time that it is a children's book! ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Greetings...I have read them. And I find them to be inspired! Tell me, then... if Neale was Channeling his Higher Self, or God... would there really be a difference? Some of the concepts are hard to fathom at the beginning, but his work is in keeping with the finest occult teachings of the Ages. I agree that one must take what works for one, and discard the rest. Like all channels, Neale has his filters that his information must pass through. This is true even of Linda... who had stated many times that Gooberz was the product of "channeled automatic writing". Are we not all aspects of God? Wasn't that Linda's message as well? Bright Blessings in L.V.X. eternal... Hello everyone,I just do not have it figured out....the relationship of the "higher self" and the God aspect. But it seems like this is my lifelong desire to understand soooo eventually I'll "get it"! Some of us are just slow learners! IP: Logged |

Hi Nebel...I've read the 1st 3 books and now I am reading 'Friendship With God'... I found them to be inspiring and some of the information helped me answer intuitively some questions. There were a couple of things that didn't "ring" per se with me... but all in all the information channeled was worth the read. eternal

hello I have read Book 1, Book 2, and several sections of the Teen version. I enjoy Book 1 and 2; however, some ideas are not my own. When I feel as though I need inspiration, I just turn to whatever page my fingers lead me to. (I know I know... ended in a preposition ) IP: Logged |
