I have to say itI think mobile phones are bad things They add chaos to the world I dont think the gods are happy with us bouncing things around up there in their starry marble halls. Is it my imagination or are more people feeling panicky and confused, maybe we cant hear the ethers communicating with us so easily because there's people's words bouncing around in space talking about should they pick up some more pasta for their tea and could you please set the video to record Eastenders.

I was given one around Christmas and tried it out, but gave it up because it gave me a weird skullache, and then headaches.I got a distinct, weird sensation on the phone side of my head within fifteen minutes of first using it, and I never spoke more than 2-3 minutes maximum (usually a minute and a half, long enough to confirm something or to ask to call someone back on a land-line). By week 2 I had headaches (I can be migraine-prone). I stopped using it for a week, to make sure it wasn't something in my environment or diet, but when I tried again in week 4, same sensations and aches, and so I gave it to someone who uses it as a car emergency phone. Too sensitive, maybe, but I'm not sorry. A pager will do. They are not good -- at very least, they drown out all the other messages one can pick up using one's _own_ brain-antennnae! And personally I would hate to miss those very special calls. Maybe you can post "cellular phones" in the Lexi forum for someone to try. Lunargirl IP: Logged |

I think cellphones are great. Allows me to communicate with others when I go off to other places. But yeah, it does contain a bit of radiation which may explain those side effects.Me? I don't use them too much, but it's really comforting to know that I got one in my pocket whenever I go out. For some strange reason I feel naked without it. (gemini rising? probably) IP: Logged |

I know lots of people who experience that feeling when using them and cut calls short because they feel instinctively wrong about holding them to their head.I might try doing a lexi although we call them 'mobile phones'in England or it sometimes is just shortened to 'mobile'.Maybe I'll have to look up some of the meaning surrounding that word mobile,so I'll need to do two lexis, one for cellular phones and one for mobile phones. I don't think they are safe, with all that electromagnetic energy seeping out right into your brain. The peeps at MIT have a theory that consciousness may be the unique electromagnetic field of a person's brain. Everyone's is different, like a fingerprint.I feel that everyone should use an earpiece and keep the actual phone away from their head, if they *must* use one. (They are miiighty convenient.) I keep a prepaid one for urgent or emergency calls but I *always* use the earpiece because I found that I got headaches otherwise.

oh thats a good idea with the ear piece! i think cell phones are probably in the same early stage as all new inventions go through-- its a really good idea, but all the kinks aren't worked out yet, and it won't be until we begin to see the long term effects that they will be corrected. YIKES! i rely on my cell phone to call people long distance when im at work and can't use the land line.. and sometimes it is better to make those calls when i'm away from home, so that it doesnt take away from...uhh boy time...IP: Logged |

Also I've often wondered if it upsets the word druids when people are texting each other and abbreviating words in texts and not spelling the words correctly in full.IP: Logged |

well as alot of adults say , going out isn't as safe as it was before. There's alot more danger & risks... It's always comforting to have a phone on you if it's late, you missed the bus , it's raining & some weirdo is staring you out of it.IP: Logged |

I would have to agree with Mazz. I am totally against mobile, cell, portable phones. Actually do you know that hair drier and the alarm clock can actually sends out more radiation then the cell phone. Basically the problem with all this electric currents or radiation it basically creates an imbalance within our bodies. Remember electricity and water go hand in hand and our body is over 60 % liquid. I would say for people who are so hooked and everything electronic just go and get tested for the radiation I am pretty sure it would come out high, I know mine is because I work with the computer all day. There was a show on 20/20 a couple years ago for those who have time I would highly recommend: www.abcnews.go.com/onair/2020/2020_991020cellphones.html abcnews.go.com/onair/2020/2020_000526_cellphones.html www.wave-guide.org/archives/emf-l/May2000/Cell-Phone-Health-Risk-Expos... I was trying to find one link from the Oprah show but couldn’t find it . Her show was pretty good…..So I guess when I have kids they won't be using the cell phone for a long time. Muse1

I read a book on Feng Shui which was also quite a spiritual book, the author told you how to 'clear a space' and things like that, she said that she didn't think hairdryers were good as they upset your energyIP: Logged |

Due to my Pluto in the 4th house, I think cellphone is a MUST for me. It gives me the privacy needed. I got one last year (or this year? Ouch, my Pisces Mercury :Þ). Now I don't have to have each and every friend "interviewed" by my family (especially my mom!) whenever they call As for what Muse1 said, and what Lunagirl experienced, I think indeed it's true that certain brand of cellphones give out this sticky radiation. Mine is one of them. But my dad's good old isn't. Guess the antic is better huh? ------------------ cUrE with cArE =^+^= IP: Logged |

The old is sometimes better than the new! Just to clarify, I don't know exactly why I had those problems. People walk, drive and cycle though microwave fields all the time, but don't feel such effects. Maybe it was something about the digital signal that disturbed me. Although I do know others to whom the same thing happened, more or less. I have some psychic ability and am probably just too sensitive for it. An earpiece or headset would indeed diminish the problems. Me, I stick to the pager solution. Lunargirl IP: Logged |

Who knows what to believe? I've even heard that the earpiece is worse, because it allows radiation to go straight to the brain. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." The convenience of them causes us to overlook the problems - intentionally, in my opinion. I personally believe that these phones do alter our brainwaves to a very small degree - just enough. For what? Well, I also believe that they are part of a conditioning for the acceptance of this type of device, devices that will, in the future, become more personal - and invasive.Someone said they liked the privacy of a cell-phone? I have a friend who worked on a Navy submarine - one of his duties while on board was to randomly listen in on cell-phone conversations from the east coast. In fact, this was one of the favorite jobs to be posted on - they really get a hoot out of the calls they listen in on, and frequently call in other personnel to listen when they get a good one! Privacy ... the people in this world have less and less with each passing day. IP: Logged |

Ra, that's quite revealing about what the duties of Navy personnel are!!!!I find it astonishing how many people willingly give up their privacy for the convenience of cellphones. And come the day when a chip is available to implant under the skin, to constantly "wire"people to the grid, millions will rush to it too. And the government and corporations will know everything you're looking at, talking about, and exactly where you are. This is also called totalitarianism. I do not want a world like that. Interesting pieSis talking about 'sticky' energy,I feel sensitive to peoples auras(not implying that other's dont)and sometimes when people pass me on the street I feel like I 'stick'to them a bit and I always think to myself"I wonder if that person's got a phone on them" I have started playing around with some lexi's on this subject,I notice all types of phone(even a land line)as that's called simply a PHONE contain the word HONE.So I take this to mean that the person is 'honing'in on you,I find the idea of this not completely pleasant. I can really picture what you're saying there RA about conditioning.

Hi Mazz Important topic. I generally feel the same way about phones. My work requires that I have one but I use it very sparingly and tend to make communication brief because I get that feeling that was mentioned above, sort of a frustrated intuitive feeling that I don't want it near me. Cell phones definitely disturb something in the atmosphere. I also feel this way about television sets. When one is turned on in my vicinity (even if I'm not in the same room) I will feel the electricity in the air (it's extremely powerful in my opinion) and I hear the high-pitched tone of the electric components... it's very bothersome to me. Anyway, I agree with you that it disturbs messages from the word druids- and anyone else for that matter! I doesn't help psychic communication. And as far as physically, it probably is destructive on a cellular level. Luckily we can regenerate our cells, but it would be better not to have the damage in the first place. One thing I have found is that flip-phones feel better than the others to me because you don't have to hold your ear right up against the antennae. I also always get phones that have high volume levels so I don't have to hold it so close. I tend to agree with Randall about the earpiece, they seem very strong, and by nature (being a speaker) they are magnetic. IP: Logged |

Nothing happened I put up some lexi's for 'cellphones' and 'mobilephones'and then I took them down because I thought they were too biased, and it was unfair to present lexigrams where I'd just handpicked a message I wanted to present,I'm so anti-mobilephones. Hope everyone can put up with me occasionally getting a bit neurotic with my posts,I think being NEUROTIC might be harmless and means you're NOT (a) NUTIP: Logged |
