Hi WPS,
I realize you are considering changing your name. You might ask yourself these questions below. Some questions I pose may seem harsh - and that is certainly not my intention. You seem a bit desparate for advice, so here it is straight up. Just keep in mind the decision is up to you. You have the power to change your life - with whatever name you have.

Is my current name (disregarding the numerological implications) in some way negative or unpleasant- either by sound, meaning (Mary Dick ...), or commonality (Smith, Johnson...)? If so, consider changing it or working just going with it. Chris Columbus is a successful director, he worked with his name.

Are you married? Will your name possibly change? Your choice here, but what if that special someone has a great name. Then, you'll have to go through alot of legal paperwork to change it again.

My personal view is... if you can live with your name, it's decent sounding, spelling, etc. and your not presently contracted with Universal Studios - keep it. I've read some of your numerological interpretations and they seem a bit innacurate. (I admit that I know little about numerology.)All of this stuff-- astrology, numerology is subjected to change and complex. Look as the sidereal astrologers and Magi astrologers -- they all have their own interpretations of what your like, what you need to do, what will happen when, and on and on. That's even more reason to find the answers inside of yourself. What if you change your name and then find out you fully did not understand numerology and you were better off with your original name? Or you selected letters that added up to a fate that you did not want. Most of this stuff - astrology, numerology, etc. hold lessons for us to learn. What if you are ditching your lesson before it's learned and before you move beyond it? Will you then need to learn this lesson again in another life? Also, numerology can outline phases of your life and what is to be learned in those phases combining birthday, name, etc. Do you fully understand all the aspects of numerology to best select the ideal name? Then ask yourself --are you trying to escape a current reality that can be better changed by a change in behavior rather than a hopeful try through metaphysical tools. Our fate IS determined by our thoughts, and our habits. Master this and you can manifest a destiny of your choice.

Blessings

thanks..

i'm pretty sure i did the numerology on my name and my son's name correctly. and there are no other factors binding me to my current name. my experience of my life and my son's life to date leads me to feel there is truth in how i interpreted the meanings of the numbers, and as my son has already experienced enough hardships in his life, i don't feel a compelling reason to keep him on the same path, since i am the one who chose his name, and i have the power to maybe carve out an easier path for him.

and what you say is right; even if it's all horsesh!t, at least i'll be thinking that doing something as seemingly insignificant as changing our last name will be helpful, and since i'll be thinking that, there's a better chance it will be..

and i'm not desperate- just excited and curious.

does any one else have any feedback?

Have you simply explored slight changes to spelling and the use of initials to get the vibration you want as well as considered lexigrams?? if not, you still have some work to do before you legally change your name!

If I add my middle initial, my full name is a 6. I mean, that's the easiest thing. And then maybe change what people call you. That's what Linda says above all with names regarding lex and numbers: it's the vibration of the symbols and meaning that you are putting out there most of the time that matters, not strictly spelling. Be mindful of this stuff, it's all in Star Signs...maybe spell Lisa like Lysa, that type of thing. I do that type of work-up on names using both Chaldean numerology and lexigrams, for a fee, yet you should be able to do his yourself since you have lived with the names your whole life and can better interpet their beauty and meaning.

Also, seek to honor your ancestry somehow through the change, that's important. Like add a second initial of a family member you love, perhaps both you and son add each other's first initial to your middle initials, and then just always sign with them. If I simply used the middle inital E (Carlo E. Ravin), I would now have "love" in my name and vibe, so maybe I'll do that Hey, it can be just as wacky to change your name altogether for just a number alone...that is, mind your lexigrams. When they asked Zappa why he named his daughter Moon Unit, he said, "It was either Moon Unit or Motorhead."...no joke. And my moms told me that it was either gonna be Carlo or Moondog. So be thankful that isn't my nick here lol

In other words, take more time to contemplate it, at least through this coming Mercury Rx (4/26-5/20 and a little beyond)

Love,
Carlo
