Just wondering, if any of you, have tried to do telekinesis?

There are few good websites out there to show you how! It's indeed very possible.

Matter is only "solid" because we think it so.

Randall, out of everyone on this site, I'm sure you'd manage to bend a spoon, or throw it across the room if you'd like. Have you tried?

Never tried. But like Yoda taught young Skywalker, it should be just as easy to levitate a very heavy object as it is to levitate a light one.

Then why do we feel weight, and see mass, if it's just an illusion?

If this world is just a dream, then why are we, let's say, stuck in it? Yet you only stay in a sleeping dream, for 20 minutes to an hour? Reality, and a dream seem totally different, and separate. But why do you consider them the same?

Because it's wriiten in the software program.

Weight and mass are real in this world, but we aren't lifting the objects physically. Levitation is levitation. It involves meta (beyond) physics. Let's say, for example, that you can easily levitate a feather at will. You would think a car impossible, since you cannot physically lift a car. So, that doubt would prevent you from levitating larger objects, since you would think it requires increasingly more Mind power to lift heavier objects. Metaphysics is outside the laws of physics. Just my ONION!

I look at the Uni-verse as a collective dream. We all contribute to it. Free-will leaves everything open (albeit predictable some of the time). "Merrily, merrily merrily merrily, Life is but a dream..."

Solidity is an illusion, because all matter is essentially the same (vibrating Energy). And there is great space between each molecule (similar in proportion to the distance between Planets in our solar system), so we are all just empty space more than anything else. We are made up of the same vibrating molecules as a concrete wall, a tree, or the Sun. And those molecules are replaced every few hours or so as they move on by. So, essentially, all we are is flowing Energy. A few hours from now, you will be made up of some of the same molecules as the wall in your house, etc. Something (?) allows us to keep our form (empty space, flowing Energy, and ever-changing molecules notwithstanding), while the wall, tree, and Sun keep theirs.

Had a metaphysical class once where we bent spoons. It was fun! We had meditated as a group earlier, then near the end of the class we all had spoons handed out to us, fixed our will, and we all shouted "Bend, spoon, bend!" at them!! It was a hoot.

Result? Some people's spoons bent like crazy, but it does take about 10-20 minutes before it happens. You have to keep telling it to bend. My spoon didn't bend <sniff> in time before the class ended, but I got to keep mine, and when I put my hand in my pocket on the way home on the subway, it was very hot! But no bend... <waah!>

any ideas on how to become a totally peaceful person? the main reason i became vegetarian, but now due to my deeper understanding of the world as we know it and how things are, i find myself not so peaceful all the time. of course i would never trust myself to try to learn to bend spoons because then that would mean i could bend other things, softer things. nope, i dont trust myself. help! i want to be peaceful again. yeah, i know, karma comes back but in the heat of aries rising leo moon sag north node anger, it doesnt really matter at that moment. triple fire in water means very hot water

Why do ppl try bending only spoons and forks and not other things? Is it due to the metal? I would love to try bending a straw or chopstick..

Metal absorbs energy and retains better than wood. It's easy to bend spoons with practice. I went to a seminar and we all did it and walked on hot coals. It's not psychic it's natural. Everyone can do it. Easier to do as a group.

Indeed!

Fishtail,
I'm in the process of bending a chopstick, per your challange. It took a lot of concentration and I only bent it about a quarter of the way I wanted to. Right now it looks a bit like a quarter moon. I'm trying to bend it in half. I'll keep you posted!

Randall,
Perhaps all of "this" really isn't an illusion and we are made of GOD STUFF!! Seeing this world as an illusion perpetuations the notion of separation. If we are not separate from God and God is of everything -- we are made of incredible GOD STUFF incredible unexplainable GOD STUFF that not even quantum physics can explain. The only thing separate from God is our mental/perceptual illusions.
