Welcome to LindaLand, PhillySimone.I will answer your questions as simply as possible when I get a few moments. Why are you curious about me? Truly, I am very much an average guy. I should ask you the same questions ... how about it? What are your philosophies? IP: Logged |

Hello Simone I live in Atlanta. As for my philosophy - harmlessness and the Golden Rule. My spiritual path? Well, I could either write a small book or sum it up in a sentence or two - how about the latter? I follow no particular doctrine, belief system, or perspective. It is a path I have walked alone for the most part, intersecting with other seekers along the way, guided by the light of my Soul. Was that too short? If you want something more, I would be happy to answer a specific question or comment. IP: Logged |

Greetings to everyone, Well Ra, you asked why I was curious. Maybe it's just my Gemini Sun and Scorpio asc. at work again, lol. I believe I singled you out because you are moderator of the forum to which I am most drawn. Plus, your name is "Ra", it caught my eye because I am especially interested in African/Egyptian spirituality. Actually I am interested in diverse religions and spirituality in general. I kinda look for what I think of as "Universal Truths and Divine Oneness" (which may be similar to "Universal Codes"). The more deeply I study, there seems to be more and more evidence that the various major religious/spiritual roads lead back to Ancient Africa and Egypt/Kemet. The fundamental relationships between these ancient civilizations and the characters and history of the Old and New Testaments goes widely unacknowledged and/or suppressed. My background educationally, is in psychology. My background ethnically is Black, Cherokee (these genes seem to dominate most at least physically) and White (Mainly Irish). My religious background is that I come from a very traditional Christian family. My studying of other religions, philosophies, literature and sciences (astrology, numerology, tarot, meditation, etc.) makes it somewhat difficult to ascribe to one dogmatic religious system. So my fundamental belief is that this journey we call "Life" or being human, is really a journey of the Soul. I believe that everything and person we experience is ultimately fodder for the growth, evolution and elevation of our Souls. I believe that we are here to truly learn how to Love. Not in the mushy sentimental sense (although that is part too). But I see Love as God's Divine energy. We are here to move towards Love and Light. Anyway, lol I've written an epic. Peace and Blessings to all. IP: Logged |

We have much in common, Simone. I could have written most of that of myself.I, too, have great interest and respect for all of the various religions, and certainly spirituality in all of it's various interpretations, but ascribe to my own Way. I look forward to hearing more from you on the site! Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts! IP: Logged |
