Hi everybody! Okay, here's my issue. I realize that the association between 15, and the numbers 4 and 8 is definitely not a good one. But LG only discussed the association between them as name and birth numbers. I'm a 15 by birth. I plan to change my name when I marry [for numerological and lexigrammical (?)] reasons, but the name I've chosen also equals a 15. My current name equals 19. Anyway, the point is, my ss# equals 31 ... which equals 4. I like the number 31, in and of itself, aside from the number 4. But I'm worried that the bad connection between the 15 and 4 is already there, and that it'll get worse if I am a double 15! I mean, I know it doesn't seem like your ss# is that big a deal, but if you stop to think about it, that number legally identifies you and it is printed every time you apply for something, ie a loan, a credit card, etc. I was wondering if it would be wise to try to get that number changed too, if it's at all possible. What do you guys think? I mean, I understand that there are other forces at work in my life, and greater influences and everything, but I can't seem to shake my worry about these numbers and I'd really appreciate any insight any of you could offer. Please and thank you. IP: Logged |

The social security number is negligible compared to the permanent imprint of birth or the name others think of in relation to you (and its printed versions). ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Welcome to LindaLand, Eleanore We certainly do not wish to minimize your concerns about this, but I must agree with Randall. Does anyone else have any thoughts for Eleanore? IP: Logged |

The 15 birth and 19 name are both very favorable. You might be concerned about people with 4s in your life, but I wouldn't worry over the SS # issue. How often do you really use it? Now, if we all had our number on our shirts and called us by it (presuming we could remember each other's), then it might have a more substantive effect. The worry may cause you some negative experiences, so I would just breathe a sigh of relief and let it go. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Thanks for your responses everyone. You've helped me relax about the issue, lol. I guess I've been a little stressed about a lot of other stuff and once I start to worry in general, I over-analyze the little things. Thanks for helping me find perspective. Randall, it's interesting you mention the 4 (and I'm assuming also the 8) people in my life ... there are tons of them! Do you think the association applies between people? I realize it matters for 4's and 8's, but I kind of dismissed it when it came to the number 15. Ironic isn't it? Anyway, some of the most important people in my life are influenced by these numbers. (My rising sign is also aquarius, if that makes any difference.) What do you think?IP: Logged |

Yes, it strongly applies to your associations with people. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

Thanks Randall You have prompted me to browse through Star Signs again.I just looked up something in the chapter, "While the Soul Slumbers." LG says, "A warning: Some numerology books place great emphasis on your 'compatible' numbers, claiming to tell you which number person you'll get along with best, based on your birth or name single number. Numerological compatibility does not work with any reliable degree of dependability, and it would be unwise to base your relationships on this weak branch of the numerology tree." I read compatibility to mean the harmony (or lack there of) between people in all kinds of relationships. But then, of course, in the special section on 4's and 8's we read, "Under the law of magnetic attraction, 4 and 8 people seem to be irresistibly drawn together in all kinds of relationships .... The combination cannot be called fortunate, at least not in a worldly sense, although it's common for 4 and 8 people to demonstrate a deep devotion to one another ..." Well, I just wonder why LG never mentioned any other connection between people with any other numbers, especially the number 15 considering the negative association described in the compound number analysis. I mean, after all, if it was clearly so necessary to warn about the association of the numbers of "Fate and Karma," between different people, I would think she would have also warned us about their connection (between people) with this most magical number, 15. Of course, it's entirely possible that she left it out for some purpose unknown to us, but I would think it odd if she had. Anybody have any thoughts? Just sent myself on a spiral: 4 and 8 ... Uranus and Saturn ... ruler and co-ruler of Aquarius ... the New Age ... Fate and Karma ... this could get interesting IP: Logged |

The 4 and 8 relationship is the only one Linda thought we should be made aware of, I think. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

i've read up on a few of these 4/8 threads.....and i'm wondering about the '4' people who fit Linda's description as 'illuminated souls': quote: A rare few who have chosen the number 4 as the birth channel are illuminated souls who have erased all past Karma by balancing it in previous lives, and have incarnated in the present existence to "rescue" a Twin Self who has become -- or in danger of becoming -- a fallen angel. In such cases, the 4 vibration is chosen to aid in keeping this person on the path of light; to lessen the temptation to form new, negative Karma, thereby also becoming a fallen angel in the attempt to rescue the fallen other half of the Self.In this instance, the 4 is an extremely protective influence -- and in all other cases (which form the majority of the 4 people) the 4 is not so much to be dreaded as to be recognized as a helpful means to discipline one's self in the present incarnation, which is not a negative situation, but quite positive in a spiritual sense.
if there is a discussion about this elsewhere i didn't find it, so i'm sorry if i'm repeating this. i have lots of 4 influences in my life and i always wonder if they are illuminated souls. how does one know? IP: Logged |

I know that 4s are supposed to be hard because of their physical vibration, but some of the coolest people I know are under the influence of this no. I see the #4 as a foundational no., as in, the base of the pyramid. in my old books, it simply means having a firm foundation on everything you do. I have learned a lot from 4 people in my life (the positive ones) for this very reason. I hope this helps.IP: Logged |

I too want to know the relationship between 15 people and 4 or 8 people. This is because my birth number is 15, and my fiance's name number is 26, which reduces to 8 (his birth number is 2). What kind of conflicts are we talking about here?IP: Logged |

I am a 4, and I find it really really challenging........I constantly feel like I am atoning for something from a past life, and the ever constant theme in my life is catastrophic events that destroy my world. Plus, that whole concept of a 4 coming back to help a Twin Soul in this life could very well be true for a certain relationship in my life.........Gaaaaaaaaaaaack........ MK IP: Logged |

I'm glad someone brought up this topic. I have found some interesting connections in my chart and in numerology with my mother and my sister.Mom's sun is Scorp. Mine, of course, is Libra. Little sister is Virgo. From Love Signs I learned that Virgo learns from Libra, Libra from Scorp, and so on... I was always very like a mother to my sister growing up. She's 15 now, and has told me that she feels that I'm more her mother than our mother. That makes me feel both happy and sad (for her) at the same time. In reading Star Signs, I read about 4,8,15 stuff. My maiden name is 15. My birthday is the 29th (11), and the month/day/year is 24. My sister's name is 12. Her birthday is 14, month/day/year is 22. My mom has used two first names in her life, the first an 8, the current a 4(her full maiden name is 16, married name is 7. She was born on the 31st, and the month/day/year is 11. We three have a dynamic connection to each other, even if we're keeping our distance (as I am with mom). I was really excited to find these connections. It's really helped me to understand a lot of things. Thanks for listening IP: Logged | |
