Anyone here have any experiences of Osho?

I have just spent the weekend at Osho Leela in the UK and I loved it!

Would love to chat to anyone who is studying this or has any knowledge or thoughts to share..

Of course! - its a religion / belief system based around the teachings of a guy named Osho. It seems to draw from many different faiths including buddhism and christianity. Some of the mains themes are: the power of hugs, active meditations, work as meditation, community living, openess and sharing of emotions.

The place I went to is a community in Dorset with about 25 people living there and they host weekend events.

You can do meditations, work around the house and gardens, have house parties, chill out - it was fab and although I found some of the meditations rather challenging, the atmosphere was really supportive and loving.

I have noticed a few people mention Osho on here, and just wanted to chat and find out a bit more.

I am one of those few ...

Hello minxystar!

Reading the works of Osho has affected a great deal of change within me. The Book of Secrets was so profound to me that I have not seen the world quite the same since I read it.

His belief system is called Tantra, and it is basically the concept of total acceptance. The meditations he offers in The Book of Secrets are greatly varied ... there are 112 of them ... and the way he presents them is nothing short of Masterful.

I LOVE Osho!!

Welcome to the club, minxystar!

Good to hear from you Ra.

How do you incorporate these teachings in your everyday life, and have you tried any of the meditations yet?

Also, have you been to any of the Osho communities? - They really are quite amazing!
