Hello everyOne... I just moved into a very old house in GA with some friends, and I have been rather uneasy ever since I've been here. I have occasionally seen flickers of movement out of the corners of my eyes, and I have often felt a significant presence here as well. Last night, though, things were pretty creepy. I was lying in bed in the Guest's room, and I could see the auras of at least two different beings, and the presence in that room was stifling. I couldn't sleep, and I ended up moving to the couch until my fiance' returned home. Now, I hae not actually seen anything physically materialize, but I can see auras clearly (though I do not see much color to them any more), and I saw these "spirits" or what have you in sillohuette (sp?) very vividly. If ayOne has had any other experiences with such phenomena, I would very much apreciate your advice!--Brandy ------------------ "Our generation has had no Great War, no Great Depression. ergh! I'm dealing with the same thing AGAIN in my apartment the past couple weeks. I seem to have a problem getting rid of them myself, unfortunately. Have you tried burning sage? Or you can look up ghost hunters in your area and see if they'll come to your house. that's what I'm trying to do now.

Just wanted to say. I used to make visits to Ga relatively often and Georgia is striking as a state full of haunted houses. That is one of the things that I remember when I think about my visits down there. I heard that just about every house in Louisiana is haunted too. Anyway, my house used to be haunted with about twelve or so spirits and it was a mess. They used to make weird noises and then laugh about it. One of the guys was mentally disabled and used to sit on people's chest when they were sleeping and they would wake up feeling that they couldn't breath. There was this other guy who seemed a civil war red-coat. I used to have dreams about them and hear them and my mother looked up and saw some old-fashioned boots standing in front of her when she was cleaning the stairs one day and when she did a double-take they were gone. Man, I could go on and on, it was insane. They finally all left. My mother started to light white candles and leave them lighted overnight and someone said to tell the ghosts to go into the light. Also, if you keep sending them love, I think that it will make things easier (if you feel threatned by them). They can get your vibe very easily. So that is my: advice white candles while telling them to go into the light because there loved ones are waiting for them if they would only go, and sending them love and love until they do go.

I have thought of sage, Wych, but as this is my friends house, I don't know how well that would go over (Sage really stinks, and both she and I have asthma). Also, I live in the Bible Belt, so finding a Ghost Hunter would be well nigh impossible. I am trying to find out some info about the house in general, how long it's been here, who's lived here, etc. Maybe I can figure out who these people are. In the meantime, I refuse to sleep alone in that room! LOL Thanks again, Wych. ------------------ "Our generation has had no Great War, no Great Depression. Our Great War is the Spiritual War. The Sage smell is temporary. I open all the windows and doors before smoking out the house. If you want the spirits to leave, Sage is the way to go, but you have to do maintenance more often. Keeping bowls of sea salt through out the house mixed with angelika root and thistle will work as well. Angelika root calls down the angels and is used in exorcisms. Keeping the salt mixture in small beautiful glass jars will keep them mysterious, yet lovely without too many questions. Place them in all areas of the house. Mix juniper berries for the ones at the entrances. Light myrrh incense to intensify the blessings.Best, Aphrodite IP: Logged |

Oh yes. My house is pretty old-I live in the historic district of my town and there a lot of older people who live around they grew up there and their families lived grew up there for a while. Anyway, we asked our neighbor and her husband (they are about eighty or ninety or older) and my mother described one of the women ghosts in the house and they said that they knew who we were talking about and they named her and said that she used to own the house a while ago.
