when you were small? Children around the world are known to have at less one?So if you did, what was the name and how many? I must confess I did not have one.So that raises another question, how come some children did while others didn't? Are imaginery friends ghosts(or guardian angels, guides)to the child concerned or just all in the mind? Waiting for your response, MDIP: Logged |

i did she only came in dreams. The girl in white who lived in a red brick house. She was my best friend, my sister. She told me things before they happened so i would not be afraid when they came. She told me my uncle would die but explained all about death and after death and how it was not a thing to grieve about. My mom freaked out, took me to a place thet made my go to sleep, they gave me a yucky drink and when i dreamed my girl in white said good bye. I woke up and she never came again. I asked my mom about it years later and she got mad asked if the girl was back when i said no she said the whole thing was imaginary nothing like that ever happened. I always wonder if it never happened why ask if she was back?------------------ ~Renee ~indecision may or may not be my problem IP: Logged |

I didn't have an imaginary friend as a child, however, I did hear voices in my head. I think Spirits would talk to me. I didn't like it, and told whomever it was, that I wanted to be "normal" and I didn't want to communicate anymore. IP: Logged |

YES!! So interesting that someone posted this topic, as I was just mentioning it in another thread. Yes, my friend was much older... About 30 or so . He was tall, with glasses, brown hair, looked like the preppy, smart type. I remember talking to him and seeing him right there in front of me. My parents would laugh at me and act like it was all a little joke. Back then I thought "Oh, they're just teasing me. They can really see him but are just pretending they can't". Now I realize they never could see him. He used to visit a lot but the last time I saw him was when I was about 4 1/2. IP: Logged |

Hi Moondreamer, Yes, I did. (I have Neptune in the 3rd as well). Her name was Tanny and I had her when I was about 5 years old..anything that went wrong...I blamed tanny. LOL... My mom and dad didn't mind. But when Tanny got into the flour bin and knocked it over, peed in the closet like her dog apricot...well, they held me accountable. So when I figured out that I couldn't blame tanny anymore - I let her go I did try to have another one...Linda the good friend..but she was too boring. So, I just hung out with Apricot (my canine partner in Crime). How saggie eh? LOL IP: Logged |

My daughter had imaginary friends, and I've often wondered, bcause, she could also see angles and fairies just like most children. All the friends I had as a kid that noone else could see were'nt imaginary. They were angles explaining this place to me, so I could understand what was being said. IP: Logged |

i didnt have one when i was young, but i did in my 20s. i was a very obedient and uncreative child, good at learning. in my 20s i discovered creativity and this is when i had my imaginary friend, i believe an astral copy of my desired love interest. but since it was astral, i couldnt get out of the astral plane without saying 'goodbye' to my astral friend. maybe it had some relation to his higher self, but i'm not sureIP: Logged |

Why do you think you all had an imaginary friend and most people don't?IP: Logged |

cant find any real ones. i'm too judgemental, critical, and perfectionistic, and i'm not externally happy most of the time. i dont smile much, i dont know how to have regular fun. having an imaginary friend is fun, though because the regular rules of reality dont applyIP: Logged |

I had lots of imaginary friends when I was young... my two favourites were Alexander and Maria, two totally normal kids like me. I knew that they weren't really real though. My mother tells me that when I was even younger, I used to have an imaginary cat. I don't know if I thought the cat was real though.IP: Logged |

My oldest daughter had some friends. She called them her "ghost friends". Came up with that name all by her self when she was 2. They were always with her, waking and sleeping. Sometimes they told her things while she was sleeping. She often woke up with messages for other people. She has always been one of those suprisingly articulate kids. Once, when she was 2 1/2, she asked me if I remembered when she was the mommy and I was the baby and I drank her mommy milk. Blew me away. I told her I didn't remember. She replied, "oh, it was when we lived in _________" (some place I had never heard of that sounded like a combo of Arizona and California). I was stunned. I didn't want to ask too many more questions... didn't want to lead her.The ghost friends warned her in her sleep on time for my husband. She woke up in hysterics begging him not to go to work. He got there just as the bomb squad was finishing up. Her ghost friends are gone now. She says they decided to leave her when we were in Hawaii (when she was 5). She says they are having other adventures now. Maybe with other little girls or boys who need them Who ever they were, I'm thankful for their presence. My husband used to have Ernie and Burt over every afternoon for PB&J when he was a toddler. I always thought that was kinda cute. IP: Logged |

Batgirl-How do you have an astral friend? Can you tell me a little on how I could do this? And you should let people close to you so they can get to know you, they are missing out alot on not knowing you and you are to. IP: Logged |
