Last week tonight I laid down in my bed to sleep, and as I do every night, cleaned out my chakrahs.

I went to spiral or meditate and was talking with myS-elf when I came upon and euphoric feeling. I could see bright flashes of light and a sense of floating. All of the sudden my throat chakrah open'd up as wide as it would go and my whole neck started lifting up from my pillow. I have no idea what happend, and ever since my meditations have been very hard working for. None of my spiraling is getting as high as I can normally get it....

Once a while ago I asked what the tigling in my head, face and shoulders was and someone said something about my third eye opening up. Since that question was answered I no longer get that feeling.

If anyone at all has comments, I would apreciate it very much = )

Love and Peace

Sorry I can't help you but I had some treatment (for the life of me I cannot remember what it is called) and I asked the lady about the sensation I would get in bed just before sleep took over, she said it was healing work being done. I have never felt it again, I was looking forward to it as I felt safe and prepared, oh well!

Hi. I know you feel there's something wrong. I do feel the need to tell you to make sure you are grounded (feet on floor) while meditating for a while. Also, the throat has to do with expression and volition. I had a simalar thing happen once after spiraling out of my body, with simalar results. I am being told "not to worry" and reminded that yogis go through simalar times with meditation. Sometimes they use anger to break through just before meditating. It sounds like you are getting ready to "break through " to a higher level. just keep on keeping on. Your guides are there to help you. I know, because they're here telling me so right now. Much love to you. be at peace, it is as it should be.

A clue..perhaps? The euphoric feeling may have been the self finally relinquishing control. The actual sensation can only (by me) be described as "falling into the arms of God." It was a falling sensation for me, followed by a period of extreme euphoria and contentment. Slowly, my self took over again and has denied me the sensation ever since. Understand that relinquishing the body to the spirit means the obliteration of the self(ego). In my case, the ego has fought back with a survival instinct. Perhaps that is what you are experiencing now.

(The ego had no idea what lay on the other side of your experimentation with meditation and spirituality, and now that it does, it is hiding from that sensation out of pure fear of nonexistence.)

Slowly, surely, the ego has been coming back around, but I am still incapable of the degree of meditation, awareness, and selflessness that I was able to achieve prior to the "awakening."

I hope that this has been helpful. It sounds to me very much as if you have experienced the reality of heaven. Read Science of Religion...I'll be adding to that post today with some information about heaven and the Blissful State which awaits us once we return to our natural state of being.

Love,

daf

P.S. Congratulate yourself. Not too many people get to feel what you have felt.
