I don't know if I've ever posted here...or even if this is the right forum. But lately I have been having dreams about or relating to a specific person from my past. When I have these dreams, he either contacts me right after (or during the dream-like he did twice last weekend), and in one instance, the dream was frighteningly accurate! It was too specific for me to brush it off lightly. This also isn't a person I speak with on a consistent, regular basis, but I think we've had a special connection since we met about 5 years ago. On top of that, I feel like my intuition about people is becoming sharper.

Does anyone else find themselves entangled in weird connections like this with others? Just wondering if someone can help shed some light on this phenomenon.

All the time, Oxychick! It's nothing to be alarmed or surprised about. There are many schools of thought on how to look at it, but I personally like to think of it as the collective unconscious of the Universe speaking to me. The fact that you think of this person and they get in touch with you simply means that you both need something from each other right now, even if neither of you realize it. Your s-elves are trying to get both of you somewhere, just be open to where you're being led. (Remember - the journey is half the fun.)

I totally agree about the collective unconscious or our higher s-elves as well. It happens all the time in little ways.. and lately, yes, It has been happening to me with greater frequency. Or maybe I am just more aware, or in tune with listening to it.
The last week has had all sorts of synchronicity, and interestng "hmmmm..." moments. I was planning a birthday party for my husband, and nothing was working out.. our 'usual' friends couldn't make it, I couldn't find phone numbers for others, and it is his thirtieth, so I didn't want to let him down. I sent out an email to our friends, saying.. please come, although I will understand if you are having a baby on or about then.... ( Our friends were very pregnant) She had the baby Saturday morning... ( On or About.....) Although she wasn't 'due' until the 29th.
I was at work last week on a break, so was outside, and one of my husband's old good friends came out of the store, and I was like "HEY!" and it was perfect, as I'd sent my dismay out to the Universe, that I couldn't figure out what to do about his birthday... and wished there were a way to get ahold of his old dear friends. There he was. So Immediately, I invited him. I NEVER just run into him... and the wierder thing is that he said he went to my store already twenty minutes before, and we didn't have what he needed so he was almost home, then he decided to turn back and look again.... That was the interesting part.
I had a dream last night too, but we'll see what happens with it......
We ended up all having a really great time too!!!! My Hubby was very happy with the surprise. I was like "whew!!"
Thanks for letting me share. There's more, but it is already too much. hee hee. It's nice to have a place to share and collect these experiences, so we can really reflect and honour in the moment, cuz as things go on, the 'magic' of he moment dissipates, so to have a place to record and bask in the validity and specialness of these moments is a really cool thing.

LLL-maybe you are right. I didn't realize I needed anything until we spoke and had some very good, much needed, comforting conversations. The funny thing is, I was having a dream that had to do with him and he called-randomly-in the middle of it to tell me there's a girl at the place he was at who looked like me. The journey may be fun, but it's also a little unpredictable (and who better to handle unpredictable than an Aquarius?).

Pixelpixie, you are such a good presence to have around-I love reading what you write (so you shouldn't thank us! duh).

Sounds like you had a pretty interesting time. I imagine you had a nice big smug look on your face at the end of the day. Let us know what happens with your dream!

It is nice to have a place to vent these things to. I wouldn't have thought ESP if not for our Mighty Aphrodite pointing it out to me in the first place. heehee

Not smug, so much as drunken and happy that things worked out despite my tendancy to wish things would work, without taking any actual reins in hand, in any real way, and MAKING them work. Just rolling with the punches and happy when one lands on my face.. um.. wait a minute, that's not the best analogy, huh...
