some time ago i went to some spiritual woman who adviced me to change my name she is christian and because my name Hezer meaning star she believed that to be the reason why im so attracted to astrology anyway i felt strongly about my name and didnt want to change it though it does bother me that almost no one can pronounce my name the right way every time i introduce my self also this is my birth info and my full name 9 june 1987 = 4
Hezer Agenbach = 13 =4
obviously i read the section of 8 and 4 in linda's book it made me want to change my name but then i spoke to another numerologist and she strongly adviced me not to change my name cause it has a blue print and i might not be able to handle another vibration so now im confused dont know what to do both my parents names add to 4 my mom was born on the 13th capricorn and my dad on 5th leo my brother 4th libra and my other brother the 23th leo any advice?

hi there Hezer,

i've always wondered about changing the name specifically to alter the vibration - if our souls have input into our chosen names then perhaps we have a lesson to learn that this vibration will assist with. then again, many women still change their surnames when they marry. but first names are more specific to our souls, i think.

do YOU like your name? does it feel right to YOU? that's really all that matters. i think that if you're meant to change it for soul reasons then you will know - either through a strong feeling that won't go away, or through a dream or something. don't worry about what other people think. if they can't remember to pronounce your name correctly, then that's their loss!

on a more personal note, i can specifically relate to your trouble with having an odd name. i've never met anyone else with my given name, and i always have to repeat mine at least three times and then spell it is your name a derivative of Hester? mine is, after my great-grandmother. it's close to yours, and also very unusual. interesting. your name also relates to the names of some of the older goddesses (Isis, Ishtar) as well as "star".

good luck with your choice.

and happy almost-birthday

xelena (not my "real" name )

As Xelena said, find what's right for you. I think the warning not to change your name because of an imprint is a little irresponsible. Women change their names when marrying all the time. I'm sure sometimes it works for them, sometimes not. Perhaps if they had used numerology to find the right vibe form them, it might work better more often.

Chances are, any changes will be subtle, at least at first.

I have had several names.
The one given at birth.
The change when adopted.
I use a completely different name in my work.
And I also have a name I use for writing, which I am seriously considering changing to legally, because I like its number so much.

The right name will find you in your heart.
