Oh, those dirty rings: An ultraviolet image of Saturn's rings taken by the Cassini spacecraft shows denser material made up of ice (turquoise) extending outward from interior rings of "dirty" material (red). The red band roughly three-fourths of the way out is known as the Encke gap.

Great image. I remember reading some very interesting Remote Viewing 'data' concerning curious activity within the rings. I wonder if Cassini will detect anything as it passes through.
