Early on July 10, somewhere around the midnight hour, I was about to go to sleep. All of a sudden, my body started vibrating really, really fast (an indication to me of an out-of-body experience--it's been happening often for me, so I know what it feels like for me when it happens) well, as I started to float, I went back to my body, because I saw a really bright white light. I thought that I was going to die...I thought 'is this the white light at the end of the tunnel people talk about?' I was frightened. Then I closed my eyes, and in the same spot, in the darkness of my room, it flashed again, and I saw it through my closed eyes. I opened my eyes again, and saw it. I closed my eyes again not wanting to see it, and then alot of white flashes flashed before me. I have a feeling that there may have been 7 flashes of light, however there was one-the original one that flashed-that was the biggest and brightest.I was paralyzed for a few moments, then I gained control of my body (as I have practiced before from previous times...I'm getting better at it) A few days before, I was at my grandmother's, and I saw a big bright blue light flash and disappear. Someone told me that they were angels. She also said that they come in white and sometimes blue lights.... DId this happen to anyone recently? Any thoughts? IP: Logged |

I have to say.. aside from spiritually enlightened happenings and potentialities there.. we are flesh and body in this creation.... so I would like to say ( it's the mom in me) even though this could be purely a spiritual thing, I would encourage you to see a doctor, or at least mention it in your next trip to your Doctor. Simply because this could be a physical indication of a problem with your brain or your optic nerves. This is complicated stuff.
I don't want to poop all over your parade, but for you to be aware that not all of life is spiritual and that sometimes we have to pay real attention to our stupid physical bodies. HHHAAARRRUUUMMPPPHHH.
Sorry 
If it is a purely spiritual thing, how cool. It's my Saturn in the first house perhaps, putting a damper on such interesting things. But 'better safe than sorry'.

You are absolutely right pixie. I very much appreciate your concern. I was at the doctor's about a few weeks ago with someone who was having eye-headache-vision problems, and the doctor asked him if he saw halos or auras around people-as if that meant something bad. ...Awhile back I asked an optometrist about it, she said I was fine. But the doctor sorta scared me when he asked my friend that.... I'll look into it more...

pixie  well done I would've galloped into my experience immediately  pisces-girl, I had a similar experience I've posted a couple of times, without the visual aspects you had though - most recently in Free-for-all 'Spiral Energy', find it if you wish. However pixie's right, and the physical explaination is foremost!  Sheaa  ------------------
