I had some time to myself today and so i sat down and thought about this moment. I was amazed that every moment passes but there are so many things happening and we are not even aware.

For example,

1. In your own body billions of chemical reactions take place yet we are not aware.

2. Right at this moment the earth would have revolved around itself, and night would have arrived and we don't even feel the movement. Yet its there.

3. Right at this moment, the universe has expanded in to millions of miles. And we are in the living room having a snack and unaware.

When we really stop and look back we realize how much work is being done.

Shhhh God is at work silence please.

Hi iAMthat

I too have been trying to pay more attention to the moments, to be in the now

When we have true glimpses of these nows the experience can be liked to seeing a rainbow in all its beauty

However, we still have to live. We have to go about our daily business and attend to our duties. If we can do this and try and be aware of each moment, then we're on our way to being in this world but not of it.

What do you think?

Hello once again, i
Could you perhaps be having a Chiron transit? ~~

How will you know if you’re having a Chiron transit? You’ll be having pangs in your stomach at the same time you’re realizing there’s not one thing “out there” that can take them away. Not you’re favorite comfort food or your most appealing addiction. Chiron transits may coincide with a series of painful events where we must go inwardly and through intense pain to get to the other side. Recognition of sudden truths can bring deep anguish but through that doorway is divine knowledge.

Chiron asks that we accept here and now as all there is. This is it. Where once we believed that to attain spiritual enlightenment we should be mindfully focused “out there” or “up there” somewhere, we find with Chiron that we must be grounded and centered in the here and now to become an effective channel for personal enlightenment.
Chiron is deep; there are many dimensions to his teachings and when he becomes active, your dreams may take on new dimensions, becoming particularly symbolic, particularly lucid, and often futuristic. That’s because his communications are saturated with meaning; it takes a form of super communication to capture the essence.

Just a thought.

Chiron the Healer

Watching & interacting with the four leggeds today, I noticed they live in the "now" Moment to moment, breath to breath. It was wonderous to see them act and feel each moment was their gift to experience.

Dear Heart and Soul,
Thanks for your kind words. I do have following transits related to Chiron for the last one and next 2 days:

Venus trines Chiron

may be that explains what I am going thru as put nicely by you

You must be a water sign. If I am right well, the chance of it being right is 1 out of 4. If not well I tried.

Hello, i
I'm sorry, I should have been clearer.....those weren't my words. I am having a Chiron transit myself now, so looked up and found those words on the net and reading them made me think of your post here.

No, I'm not water, but yes, worth the try.
Sagittarian here.
My Merc is Scorpio, and Scorpio Neptune is conjunct my Sun, so therein flows the Water.

From your posts, it appears you are on a major spiritual quest for Truth.....and All Sags can't help but admire that.

juniperb, yes, animals and children alike.

I have often wondered if they are able to tap into a magical Universal energy by simply Be-ing. Without all of the confused feeling and over-analysis that often overwhelm Us.

Instead of desperate grasping for the feather, which hurls it away....it is simply and naturally allowed to flow down to them.

I think it's mind boggling with the human body alone. People have no idea what goes on inside of them daily.

Our bodies are truly fascinating machines.

Just think about sitting down and watching telly. Whilst you just concentrate on that, your body is coping with millions of different actions and reactions and with no conscious effort from you. It's on automatic
cruise control.

Heart & Soul, yes I agree Watching a child play, talking, singing and smiling to themselves is a gift to see. A gentle reminder of what we can BE

oh i was repeating what meili had stated above....i was kind of jesting, in that i don't always seem to follow the profound mystic utterings around here these days.

you know, all the cryptic sufi-like words floating around...hence, as meili pointed out, it's better not to speak of that not yet tasted...her words having a much more profound sound though.

feeling light hearted i suppose.

Saffron,

Hi. I was poking fun too. I knew you were jesting.

Meili,

Hi. You are right, there are so many here who are may be higher on the spiritual ladder and keeping a watch on those below and interrupting only when required

Silence sometimes is indeed better. Even
God is silent even though he watches us every second.

I heard a beautiful story about a son standing on roof of a burning house. His father is calling from below "Jump Son Jump". Son says "I can't see you. Theres too much smoke here". Father replies "I can see you. And that is all that matters. So Jump".

Cheers.

Um, Meili, could you please explain "Silence is for those reading the post who would would speak and respond without writing through love, peace or generosity. God created all things bad but he does not approve of them ."?

Is the silence you speak of transmuted through understanding? Or is it truly silent contemplation - completely receive\ing without the need of giving? Also, what do you mean by "God created all things bad"?

I've been thinking a lot about the process of asking questions. So many people seem to know what to do - for example. An electrician will walk into a room and go about her day installing the cables etc without a question, and yet, would've been taught everything in the past so maybe questions are no longer needed? I mean, so many people seem to Know, but maybe that don't understand what to ask? I think you probably realise that I bring this theme up a lot You have answered before. I'm still thinking about perception and discerenment. And the wall in between the yin and yang for that matter (/energy).

With Love,
Dean.

"God created all things bad but he does not approve of them "

Hmm interesting, I heard this also in the Gnostic gospel. That is Yeole or Yarladgadda or XXXXX having been born from the will of mother who in turn gave birth without consent of her husband, claimed I am God as there was no one before him. He was shaped like a snake with a lion head. He created sun made our earth his footstool. And other creations.

Having uttered this blasphemy Sophia projected image of first Adam (man). ALL admired this brief vision and were at awe.

Then the story goes on and on ... about how Yeole with his angels created the first earthly man. Then the events of Garden of Eden occur...and then it mentions about how he wanted to destroy all that he created. Having realized that man is so much evil.

Appears thats when the real God (sorry for the similie) made a promise to Noah and the first rainbow occurred. No wonder the Hebrews respect the rainbow so much.

Sesame your question rekindled my memory. Sorry folks if you are already aware of what I wrote. For those who are aware, apologize for mistakes.

Thanks IAmThat.

And Meili, you truly are mystical

I looked up the online dictionary for perceive and got this:

quote:
Usage: To Perceive, Discern. To perceive a thing is to apprehend it as presented to the senses or the intellect; to discern is to mark differences, or to see a thing as distinguished from others around it. We may perceive two persons afar off without being able to discern whether they are men or women. Hence, discern is often used of an act of the senses or the mind involving close, discriminating, analytical attention. We perceive that which is clear or obvious; we discern that which requires much attention to get an idea of it. ``We perceive light, darkness, colors, or the truth or falsehood of anything. We discern characters, motives, the tendency and consequences of actions, etc.'' --Crabb.

You know, I think I do practice this quite a bit. You look at something, then try to understand it and "put it in its place" in the grander scheme of things. You could say God has done this and hence the variations of entities from Spiders to turtles - I mean, things are separated in order to see there differences and understand their place in the web of life.

I will re read old posts as they appear or I am "drawn" to them. I truly think the past is an amazing thing. Even directly after writing something and then reading them I wonder how I wrote it. Where did it come from. I've written programs where I look at them and can't remember writing anything about them really. That's why comments are mandatory (any budding programmers take heed!).

My point I guess is that the past is past. I try to live Now. I am a gemini so I understand change fluently. Trying to learn from my past is no easy feat really as I might not remember much, or my Mind could've changed completely. When I read my thoughts as bauschd, sometimes they seem to smack of a complete difference, as I changed nics, but I know it was me. "Was" being the operative word. Maybe you're point is more that you can learn from your changes than the content of thought. Perceive Who You Are Now by Who You Were Then. Discern Who You Are Yet to BE from the changes. In maths it is denoted m - the rate of change. y = mx + c represents all straight lines. But I'm sure the line of destiny isn't straight. Formulas can be formed from any line though.

Thanks for the answer though

Heaps of Love,
Dean.
