Last night I watched a program on paranormal stuff, and precognition was one of the things discussed. Their definition if I remember correctly is a feeling that something is going to happen, and it's usually in visions or dreams.

This got me thinking about something that I can do. It only seems to be with naturally occurring events, they don't come in dreams or visions. I can sense, without watching the weather, without hearing the thunder in the distance, approach thunderstorms. I sense them enough that they wake me up at night. I just get a feeling and I go, "yup, storm coming." i've also done that on 2 occassions with very low scale earthquakes, waking just minutes before they occur, knowing that's what is going to happen. Ever since I realized it I can usually sense oncoming rainstorms sometimes as well.

Would all of this be considered precognition? I'm not having visions of these things at all, just a feeling. Or am I just rather sensitive to the earth's energy/barometric pressure?

Hi VTT ~

Precognition is the ability to "see" or predict the future, and I don't see why this wouldn't include acts of nature. It's a very general term, kinda like saying you're psychic. As you probably know there are MANY different types of psychic abilities and predicting acts of nature is one of them (not sure of the "official term"). So I guess you could say you're a precog (or psychic) that specializes in natural events

Heh Virgo,

Theres a guy who can hear ringing sounds in ear (Tinnitus) just before an earthquake. I forget where he is from. Everyone realizes different potentials of theirs. May be what you describe is yours.

I am glad you are in New York, close to me. Please warn us at LindLand when you sense something will be really terrible.

I imagined a city skyline on the wall, a month before Sept 11. I am still not sure if its imagination or really lights from outside. But I clearly remembered telling my self "Why do I see tall buildings."

I think God always sends images as Magidivision said. Its left for us to decipher.

Sorry it took so long for me to get back to this! I'll have to see if there's a name for what I can do . A friend of mine suggested that because I have so many earthy elements in my astrology chart, that I may just be more connected with the earth's natural energy. I'm so glad to know that it is precognition, which will help me in learning more about this!

iAmThat - If I sense anything at all, I'll definitely post it in here! I don't remember sensing 9/11, besides waking up early and actually watching the morning news channels for once in my life haha, that was creepy. Anything at all though, I'll definitely let you guys know.

You know, I've been trying to find two mp3's that were made about 9/11, but I can't find them anywhere. One was by Powderfinger, and the other is Hunter's and Collecters. Does anyone happen to know where these could be?

Dean.

Dear virgotaurustaurus,

And I am made of mostly water elements.
Hence the psychic. I have noticed that Wolf dogs start becoming uncomfortable on an approaching storm. This one starts walking from one room to another and moaning. When it happens I come to know that a great thunderstorm is approaching.

And by the way, I celebrated my surprise birthday party less than 60 days before 9/11 on a dinner cruise. And was thrilled to enjoy the last minutes of the building from the waters. I still have the photographs and my American friend who I invited proudly displays the photographs to everyone of her guests.

Now thats more coincidental isn't it? Somethings you can never explain. Have you heard of supernatural clock? That freaks me out even more?

Heh Dean, Theres a catholic saint who helps you find missing objects. You may pray him.

the saint to pray to for lost things is saint anthony.

a funny thing happened to me 1 month before i had to put my dog down from shot gun metatastic cancer that means it spread really quick and he died within 3 weeks i took all kinds of pictures of him. i had my camera i was outside and i wanted to finish off my film i must of taken 12 pictures they came out so nice. i never remembered until about 1 month after he died i had them developed and there he was i cried and cried. i don't know what inspired me to take those photos, then about 3 months before he died, i am in a book club and i ordered a book by mistake it was "blessing the bridge"
its about what animals teach us of death and dying. it ended up being about how to let go of you animals and know its time. it was odd i did'nt send the book back because i said i will need this book some day my dog was only 9 i never thought he was gonna die 3 months later.
