My mom died in '87 when I was 6 years old.
I never dreamed about her and it bothered
me, until one night when I was 19 years old,
I had a dream where my late grandma (alive at that time) knocked on my bedroom door, telling I had a visitor, I asked who, she went, "open the door". My mom was there. She looked the same as I remembered, except, paler than usual (but not an unhealthy pale)
and her hair was cut dramatically short, she
had on a beautiful white gown. I hugged her,
and said "I thought you were dead", she laughed and said; "you thought I was dead? I was never dead, I was always here"

Since that night, I always knew in my heart
that she was trying to explain to me that she is here with me and that there is life after death.

Anyone ever have an experiance like this?

I think it comes down to receptiveness and desire. If you truly want an experience like this one, it will happen. The thing is, what she said coud be interpreted in different ways. When she said "I was always here" could mean there is no death. There is no time. Here is everywhere.

What you experienced is truly a blessed thing. Thanks for sharing

Just found this one. I have a cool story. My fater died in 1986. About 10 years ago I had a dream that I walked into my livingroom and there he was sitting on the couch. I knew he was there to let me know he was aware of my life and what was going on. ( at that time i lived in deleware, a job transfer). A few years later i was talking with my sister on the phone.She moved to delaware with me and i returned to mich. and got married and she stayed there and met a man and now lives in sin ( ha ha that was for you Cindy!) in new jersey. Anyway we were taling and she said she had one of those really real dreams about dad. She said she came into her living room and there he was sitting on the couch. I knew it was really him at that moment. He was a very spiritual man and Im sure he did that on purpose for me so that I would know!
