The other night I was in my room and I wanted to take some pics with my digital camera. I took a generic shot at the wall just to see if I had my settings right and when I looked at the pic I saw a few orbs, which I've always heard could be spirits. So just for fun I said, "Anyone who wants to be in the picture, come on in." I took another shot and there are orbs EVERYWHERE! I thought this was interesting, but I wanted more evidence, so I said, "Okay, everybody out please," and took another shot. In the last one there were only a few left. I took these three pics in the space of two minutes and never changed my settings or moved my camera (I had it set up on a shelf.) Could they have been spirits? I can post the pics if anyone wants to see if someone tells me how.But I've always loved this apartment. The first time I looked at it I fell in love with it... it just had such a pleasant energy. It turned out that I was the second person to look at it and the first people decided they wanted it, so they got it. A few months later I saw an ad in the paper and didn't know it at the time, but it was the same apartment and this time I was the first one to call, so I got it. I've never seen anything here, but friends tell me they have seen strange shadows and one time a friend and I had gone outside and he ran inside to get something. When he came back out he asked me why I had gone back outside and I had no idea what he was talking about. He said that while he was in the house he heard me say his name and when he came out into the living room I was gone. If there are spirits here I feel like they are very benevolent. I thought it was interesting that the orbs I saw were all in my room on my side of the bed, almost like they watch over me. Anyway, I thought it was kind of cool. If there's anyone in my apartment, they are very welcome to stay! Any thoughts? IP: Logged |

 That's super cool. I'd love to live in an army of friendly ghosts. Well, maybe not. I wouldn't mind seeing them! Are they big pictures? I've found if you open them in Paint brush and save as a jpeg, it seems the size is a lot lower even though the camera took the pics in jpeg form. You can email me at sesame@linda-goodman.com . I could then upload them to my page and show them here? Otherwise, I think you could create an msn gallery or something and upload them yourself. I once bought a magazine about weird phenomena and they had reader pics of ghosts and orbs etc. Pretty cool stuff  Dean. IP: Logged |

Thats so cool future. i wouldnt worry about it, if you have a good overall feeling about your apartment go with that and dont worry about your new found roomates. Ive read in a book where the author said "Spirits are people too!" IP: Logged |

Hey to both of you!Miss_apples... I liked what you said about spirits are people, too. And Dean, I'll email you the pics in a day or two, maybe you can put them up for me if it's not too much trouble or I'd be happy to do it myself if someone could tell me how. Dean, I sent you an email with the pics, but I had to cut the pics down to quarter page size first and when I did, they came out too dark in the email. I may try posting them in our lindaland photoshop place. Do you have a link? Or if you have a better idea, let me know!  IP: Logged |

Interesting! I was at the skateboard park a few months ago, and there was an older gentleman taking pictures of, the air. It was dark. He was very excited about telling me, "I'm taking pictures of spirits. Have you ever seen orbs in the photos you take around here? There are a lot of spirits around here." (There are also a lot of churches!)
I checked it out on the net and was disappointed to find they were dust particles. IP: Logged |

I was concerned that the orbs might be dust particles or something else, that's why I asked the questions. Not that that in and of itself proves anything, but I thought it was interesting nonetheless. I have seen similar pictures that a friend of mine took about a year ago. She talks to spirits and found one in her mother's house, so she went to where it was and had her mother take some pictures. Then my friend noticed that the spirit had gone so her mother took a few more pictures and these last ones were the only ones without the orb. You never know, I guess!IP: Logged |

If you were able to get photos of orbs, you might be interested in getting recordings of spirit voices.

Hey future_uncertain, miss_apples, Dean, Philly & wildflwrs. Very cool that you have loving spirits  I am aware of more spirits around me at home too - good almost playful energy. When I come home an noones in I shout out a hello to the house! (Noone replies ) but it's kinda saying hi to residents that may have been here for years! I have had a few little things occur, which have startled me a little, now it doesn't bother me at all. future_uncertain, I'd love to see you pictures too if you wouldn't mind forwarding them on please? I'm at kfielding@fastmail.fm. Or if you want to post them, you can host them at tinypic.com. Philbird, yeah that's the thing with some photo's or recorded data, when they turn out to be dust particles. When I had Living TV on cable, there's a show I love watching called 'Most Haunted' where they go to different locations and investigate spiritual phenonima.
