I was wondering, has anyone noticed that the left and right eyes are different colours on TV? I've seen this a lot, and keep thinking it's my imagination, but maybe it's not. The left is like blue, and the right is green. I'm asking this now, because I was playing Final Fantasy X yesterday, and I noticed Yunas' eyes are like this...

Do mean just video games, or TV in general? Cos I don't think I've noticed that (phenomena?) myself....

Well, I just always saw it on TV, but then in a game! It was weird, so I wondered if the developers were aware of this phenomenon or if it's just me...

Yuna's eyes are supposed to be like that - it's a plot point later on.

Wow, that's interesting. Maybe it's happening soon. I'm in Janarkand at the moment. I still think it occurs often on TV though.

Nah, you're right - it is interesting, though I haven't noticed it myself.

Have you hooked-up with the...gah...can't remember their names...the sand pirate-ish people yet?

Hmm, don't think so. I just found out the secret about the fayth - that little kid guy talked to me. I just beat Seymour in his massive machina. I had to power up a bit for that fight. 70 000 points! I mean, there's higher, but that's still a lot. I finished him relatively fast too, which was fun. Are you playing FFX-2 - Yuna's story?

I was until Meg came along (my kiddo, 7 mos old as of the 22nd...coinkidinkally, that's about how long it's been since I've had time to actually sit down and play; if I can get back to it - as I really, truly do wish to do - I'll just have to start over again as I've completely lost the plot line).

FFX-2's an excellent game (would you expect any less?), though it has a completely different feel than the first.

I finished FFX during a snowstorm in the end of '03's winter. For nearly two weeks, I barely left the room that I was renting in a student house.
I won't tell ya what happens with Auron.

Did you play the others? I got lost in FFVIII but finished FFVII which was the best game ever really. I thought FFIX too ditsy and FFXI is supposedly going to be completely on-line. Is there much os a story with Lulu?

Yeah, the plot's are always a little overcomplicated and interconnected. I never really understand what heppens except when Tidus talked to the Fayth recently. That really was amazing. I like the Shakespearian style of continuously retelling the story for us who get lost. Did you do any of the secrets in FFX? I looked at a walkthrough and found Nirvana for Yuna, but I think I lost it. Takes a LOT of time hey?

I hadn't played any of the FFs before X, but now wish that I had.

Re: FFXI: I've heard the same, but don't have enough time to invest in something on-line. People tend to get titchy if you just drop off the face of the earth for a few months when you're playing with them; purely console games are much more forgiving.

Re: FFX: I went on a ton of the sidequests, got a "secret Aeon" or two, etc., but I havent't played it in so long that I can't honestly tell you what I did.
I just went back and checked looked at my last save - both Wakka and Auron had nearly 8,000 HP, even Yuna had over 2,000. I remember that being important...when you get towards the end, make sure that you have comparable HP for your characters.
Oh, yeah, though - over 70 hours of game time. That includes some farting around, but you sure do get your money's worth out of that game.

Re: FFX-2: It's *all* Yuna, Rikku, and another chick named Paine (kind of a female Auron), at least as far as playable characters go. The experience system's different than the sphere grid used in FFX-2...it all has to do with costumes.
It's much more light-hearted than its predecessor, but does still contain the good character development you may want.
