In the Lindas Life forum, I asked a question about some quotes from linda, and then the thread went on with favorite quotes of poeple. Lalalinda had said something that to me seemed so true, it was: I don't know but its lovely I have always felt that the secrets of the universe could be unlocked through mathematics. In fact I think of Astrology as a mathematical science.(I know not a very popular belief) But if you don't look at it like this its hit and miss, more guessing than anything. When done correctly astrology is right on the money. This is through the use of exact aspects (math) Its so true when you apply math to anything, and especially to astrology and numerology. it got me thinking and i want to know something from you elfs: Has anyone had that numerology phenomena were they can hear someones name or a word, and a number just pops out of there head? I was writing a revising a chapter on the magic of 4 and 8, I was really into it and ideas started to come into my head from words i was laying out-all of a sudden the word OCCULT flashed at me and something told me it was a 8, so I stopped my typing and checked and it was a 8. not that i am saying that what I do is a occult, actually according to the dictionary it could be, so i guess i am saying its not a cult, but the more I get into my work, the more these Phenomena happen. the map just opens up!!! Now it could be that my name comes out to a 13 and 4, also my birth date. Being a Sagittarius I wouldnt dare think of avoiding my destiny by changing my name, but I did have the opportunity to change the last letter in my first name (it would still be pronounced the same) and low and behold the letter had the same numerical value as the old letter, which just told me, it was a waste of time to change the name. so maybe that 8 just came to me from feelings of pulling. I do know that when i am introduced to a person and hear their name or read about someone, I feel that I can sense the smallest things about them, though vibrational mood. ???? so, any numerology phenomena?

Yeah, interesting stuff! I have no doubt that it's possible. My sister got married and her name changed to the same number, but the lexigramming would just be different - so there's that to consider too. I definitely think numbers are synonomous with letters (and vice versa). In fact, My last maths exam didn't allow calculators - it was basically all letters. Occasionally you'll see a 1 or a 0, but maths as it progresses seems to turn into letters. I mean pure maths. I guess stats are different - although bad example as they use many letters too. OK, maybe accounting That's cool though to sense the Chaldean equielent number. Theoretically, if you had read the values of all letters at least once, then you should be able to "guess" the addition of their values whenever you see words. You know what I mean? Like, you'd "accidentally" know the answer before you compute it because your brain could be one step ahead - maybe another definition of occult? Anyhow, that is cool, Dean. IP: Logged |

Sesame, Can you give an example of what you said in your last paragraph? When I was much younger, in math classes, I would know the answer to a math problem, but couldn't consciously do the calculations. I just knew the answer. I still did poor in math, obviously, it looked like I was cheating. IP: Logged |

I know very little about numerology, but the number 8 seems to follow me around ton So does 10. I think my life path number is 1. I was reading a book on birthday's yesterday, and my birthday is ruled by the number 8!I wish I knew more about these numbers, and why they seem to be everywhere with me. IP: Logged |

Philbird, you've answered your own question Richard Feyman - the nobel prize physicist for QED did that too. He'd just sit there and compute the problem, and then write down the answer and circle it. He thought writing how he solved it was a waste of time. I can't do this, I just thought it's possible that the brain could do it like, subconsciously, and you'd know consciously that the answer is correct. Sounds like you know more about this than me Dean. IP: Logged |

My ex-husband's full name is a 3 and he was born on the 12th of the month. He proposed on 3-30-93 after we had been dating 3 weeks. We got married on 10-3-93. When I took his surname my full name changed to a 3. Our son was born on 3-30-94 and his full name is a 3 (which wasn't planned). My phone number ends 3099. "Three - is a magic number" LLL

Hello Thorshammer I think I know what you mean. This seems to happen the more that you dwelve and practice numerology. You begin to pay attention to numbers more everywhere...in addresses, liscense plates, etc. And do you also immediately know what a sequence of numbers will reduce to? This has happened to me more often lately. And also with words, like with you. I'll be writing and a word will stand out and I'll sense a number, and then it turns out to be right on. I dunno...maybe the more we become intune with number's vibrations, we somehow begin to sense their vibration intuitively. It is cool when it happens. IP: Logged |

Heart&Soul, yes your right. lol. I remember years ago, I would become crazy with numbers, counting everything. I would be on the bus and adding, breaking down. after a while, I just said, "STOPPPPPP!" it was funny now that I think about it, but I think it took me to a higher level of unconsciousness; there I am still doing it. I do believe with practice it comes intuitively. And mediation and breathing exercises help to. IP: Logged |

Hi Torshammer Have you ever thought about the combination of Tors hammer and the varja?Anyway my favourite numbers have always been 4 and 8. since childhood I have choosed these numbers and then 7 as the third favourite. My name is 13 too. Actually I accedentally changed my name into 16 when I started school because the pronounsiation ends up telling that I farted, so mom changed it. Now I am trying to change back to 13. 16 was also not to good together with 16 so I ended up beeing "the hanged man" I even sleept as the hanged man these years I just noticed =) I feel everything is mathematically buildt up. And I strongly recomend to draw the 9 triangle symbol of the SriYantra as a mathemathical mind practice even for non hindus. I did, knowing nothing about it. For fun. the next 2 weeks my mind appeared different. more lucid and clear. So far I have not tried to guess peoples frequens (number) but I will test it out =)some people guess me as 9...dunno why? Thanks for bringing it up! Love and light, IP: Logged |

Man, I wrote out this nice reply and i put in the wrong password, and couldnt get back before it got erased-darn it!!!Aquali, I had never heard of the varja until you mentioned it. at lease i think its the same thing if I looked it up right. is it the lightning, invinsibility? if so yes that sounds is invinsible. thats the way i like to think of myself anyway. lol I would get back to that 13 as a name sake. its so exciting. I wouldnt have it anyway. anyway they say that the person who has something to fear, or is a bad person is the one that wil worry about it more than anyone else. example i was watching this police show last night, called THIRD WATCH. there is a girl (actress Nia Long-gorgeous) who was a cop,but she worked for internal affairs, and the cops found out and now they were mad at her and asked how she could work on that side, and she said, the only people who have to fear IBS are those cops that are dirty, so i look at it the same way with the number 13, 4, 8, if you have a problem associated with negativity, then you probably need to more to another number, though that might not help either, but if your fun and positive the number will only prosper. I am going to post a chapter in my numerology boook on here, I usually dont do things like this, but I love you guys. I have this fascinating story with the relation to the 4 and 8. i hope you like it. coming soon. THOR IP: Logged |

the varja is used both in the buddhist filosofy and the hindu religion. In the hindu it is said to be shivas thunderbolt. like thor he throws it into the air. In buddhism it has several meanings depending of if it is double, if it is single and has a bell on one side it sybolizes the female energy. if it is single it symbolizes the male...dunno much about it but it is very interresting to compare the norrøn (as we say it in Norway) and the hindu and buddhist symbols...Yes invincibility sounds right...I also learned that thousands of years ago a comet-like thing hit the himmalayas and left a metal there which where the first time mankind got in touch with a healing metal...one old friend of mine once let me hold a small thunderbolt/varja which he said was form the original metal form the himmalayan region. When I helt it it "ticked" in my hand-bones. When buddha sybolices the gesture of yin-yang he holds a varja in one hand and a varja with a bell in the other. Im a positive and lucky person so I think 13 would be ok for me ? ey? cant wait to know more of my lucky numbers sorry my bad english here... IP: Logged |

Aquali, That was so interesting. Its got me on a journey to find out what that metal is, and if it still is in someones existance. Just so fascinating. Amazing is how the world is more simple than one thinks, from Norway to India, such similarities..... Thank you for that info, I am happy to know ya. Thor IP: Logged |
