I hope I spelled that right. Anyway - I'd be interested in hearing about any coincidences that occured in your life or someone else's that wasn't just a coincidence. I once heard a bizarre story of a man who found a ring near a lake or something. He and his wife kept it for decades until one day a hot air balloon crashed into their house. When they asked the balloonist his name, they wife replied "Oh we have your ring." Seriously, I read it in one of those "Small Miracles" stories.I look forward to hearing your stories. IP: Logged |

All the time, as I pay attention.
Today, for instance ( this will be a long post)
I have an abcess on my gum, and I need a root canal. A friend from my band called this morning, before I got my kids to school, and I told him that my tooth had balooned and I had to get into a dentist before my shift at work. He said he'd call around and try to work it out for me. I said it was okay, I'd do it when I got home from getting my kids to school. Well, I walked her there, and he was waiting in the parking lot, said he got me in with the dentist that works with his dentist, and the appointment was in an hour. Cool.. so here's some background.... his dentist's practice is about two towns away.... so we had to travel there on the highway. We were remeniscing about the last time we did a sound check at the bar we played in, there was a dentist's office next door which happened to be open on a Saturday the last few times we played, and the dentist asked us to please wait for the sound check, as he had patients. We accomodated him twice, even though it taxed our own schedules.
I get in to the dentist today, ( two towns away) and he looks a bit familiar. He asked how I heard of him, and I told him my bandmate's dentist was his partner, but he was booked, and this is an emergency.. he asked where I played.. I told him. He said he sometimes works out of the office next door to the bar we played in. EUREKA!!! Crazy that the guy we P-ed off is the emergency dentist in another city!!!! THAT was synchronicity.. more than coincidence. Wierd.
Later today, I was sending off an order from work and the Purchase Order's number was my wedding date (6-5-99)
Later on, I was talking to a co worker about X-mas and how it will be different this year as my Grandpa is no longer with us... and then a song by his favorite group came on the radio.* I got teary*
This is all just today.
So yeah.. I notice stfuff all the time, and I promised myself I would write about it here tonight, and then I see yopur string about synchronicity.. and there is another synchronistic happening. A very simple one, but one nonetheless.IP: Logged |

Cool stuff!
Yes neoKitty listening is the hard part. I've had in-your-face type synchronicities and chose to ignore them. I've even prompted them to come in my life and blew them off. Once long ago I was being my usual indecisive self and kept ignoring this urge to create a children's picture book. So I made this pact with God. "Okay God if you want me to create a book, have someone from out of nowhere say to me -- you should write a book, or something to that effect in whatever words that could mean that." Impossible right?! I thought I have nothing going on this week except some boring real estate workshop with this guy who was clearly not high in the integrity department. Well during the workshop he was talking about buying dumpy houses fixing them up at the minimum and turning them over quickly or renting them out. He told us how he looks through the newspaper and picks his potential house (victim) then he warms up to the person and gets personal conversational info like "Do you have a wife and family." and if he says ya I've got kids, he will say so do I. He commented how he would make up kids names and stuff. ( great guy huh?) Then he said the kicker to us --- "Go ahead and make up a kid's story." I sat there and repeated what he said. I couldn't believe that this unscrupulous person could said what he said. I guess the lesson is that we are all connected to God. By the way yes, I have not created a children's picture book. I think I'm waiting for the clouds to part and a voice to come bellowing down.IP: Logged |

Yes thats right kat, ask and you shall recieve the answer. I mean, if the desire is there, and you become ready for whatever answer, and have no expectations, you will smoothely connect within the harmony of the universe. That's pretty awesome pixie! Kat ~ another example of ask and you shall receive! Yeah I know what you mean ~ put my trust in a higher force & ask for things, but am still a little alarmed when I get a response!  Hey NeoKitty! It's true.. all the suprises, adventures, secrets, and illusions.. are magical.. especially when that pattern emerges. I feel like I live in a novel sometimes!  Hey - now that would be an extreme case of universal synchronisity ~ if I found my life story written already in some little bookshop somewhere! Yeah Pix - that is pretty crazy!  With an influx of synchronisity, you almost expect it, huh? You mentioning the dentist though, is a small synchronisity within itself since I was thinking upon the dental appointment I cancelled this week (pricey) Yes I remember you're sadness with your Grandpa, since I think I joined LL around that time  Love you pix
