In another thread, I recalled a story from Shirley MacLaine. Not sure if I will get the specifics correct, but she was conducting seminars at a hotel that was experiencing water problems. She asked her students to join her in a group meditation to aid those working on the problem, so she wouldn't have to cancel the seminars. Together their thoughts were so powerful, there was a water main break!
Some of us thought we could use our minds together to send healing to South Asia, so devastated by the earthquake and tsunami this week. If we all spare a few moments at the same time this Sunday, perhaps there are those we can help. Chances are, we will never know...but that doesn't matter. What matters is that all that wonderful, positive energy will be sent to those who need it. Sunday at 3 p.m. EST is what we've chosen, as those in Europe won't have to stay up too late, and those on the west coast won't have to be up too early. That's 8 p.m. GMT. Of course we have Knowflakes all over the world, so no time will be perfect. If you can't join us at that time, perhaps you can spend a few minutes on your own. Our thoughts have so much power! All ideas are welcome. If you can join us, pleasse let us know in one of these threads (I'll post this in all the busy forums). Thank you.   IP: Logged |

So, do we just project light into asia? How are we doing this exactly, and for how long? I guess 30 mins'll be cool. If everyone's synched then that'll be a lot of light. I'll check out the time here. See you all at the stratosphere somewhere.Dean. IP: Logged |

 Good Morning...it's so lovely to see so many wonderful Knowflakes planning to join together to do a little good.  Dean Essentially, yes, we'll direct healing light to South Asia. I didn't want to tell anyone 'how' to do it; we probably have our own individual styles for meditation. And I think that's just fine.  And I think anything in that 30 minute time span is just fine, too. I will look forward to seeing/feeling all of you in the ethers. IP: Logged |

Here is some info (follow the link below) for those of us who will be participating in the Healing Meditation on Sunday. And for those who would like to join in but arent sure what to do. I think this info will be helpful.
Please join in if you can. Even if you've never meditated before you can help. Every person counts. We are all connected. Dont think your effort wont matter. Setting two alarms (watch and bedroom so's I won't forget... know I will feel it to be a part of that! Saturn certainly wants its influence felt and acknowledged right now I'm can see (Aries sun, Cancer rising, mars opposing saturn dead on in Pices - ouch!) As a newbie seeing all this in my chart for the 1st time is certainly helping me to deal with present catastrophies... I think the most beautiful thing about astrology is its underlying mythology + understanding of classic archetypes - Helps me to have an overview to see "as the birds fly"  the course of human history - (even contemplating the balances and oppositions of the houses alone could make a philosophy worthy of living one's life by!)The blending of each's special planetary + celestial influences as a thread in the great tapestry - ... if we see each contribution to be balanced and fulfilled by the other's like the chart wheel full in every house with inconcievable amounts of Planetary energy to focus into that white healing light we've spoke of to send - .... Lastly, lets not forget in this time of crisis that they need our energy all the time - I liken my sending to them as a pot I put at times on the back burner to simmer while I tend to more mundane daily chores but always occupying a back corner of my mind, till the need is sated... Remember that at any given moment untold numbers of spirits are praying and sending their energies in that direction - all you have to do is consciously tap into that in your meditation to "link in" whenever you find a free moment (precious few as they may be these days - we need to make more of them! ) I'm especially excited to have a time when I know that many of you who I feel I've come to know in an amazingly short period of time will be tuned in at once... together I'm sure we will be able to make a dimple in the wrinkle of the fabric of suffering that is shrouding those poor souls at the moment - truly must be a "dark night of the soul" for so many... so hard to wrap my mind around... Yes, lots of power out there. From what I saw on the news this morning, it seems new aid arrived and my Country is set to pledge a lot more money. I'm sure they are somewhat more comforted...  Dean. BTW, Welcome delerious! Not sure if I did that already IP: Logged |
