Hi Knowflakes I am sure many of you have seen the cameo face Linda mentioned in her book Star Sign. As for myself I had tried to see the face many times whenever it was full moon but I could never properly make out the face. I must mention that this was always done during night time when the moon was in the eastern sky. However a few days back I went for a walk around 4am, it was still very dark and I could clearly see the moon which was full. I had not even watched the moon for more than a few seconds and there I could so properly see the face of a woman facing left. I must confess that for a while I thought that I am seeing it because I want to see it, but than each time I saw it I saw the exact face I had seen the first time. It was truly amazing. I should mention that this time I saw the moon in the western sky and it was just going to set. I again tried to see the face during night a few days back just when the moon has risen but I couldn’t make out the face. Does anyone know why is it so? Has it got to do something with the moon always showing the same face towards the earth ? That may be the reason that the face gets upside down in the east. I am sorry if what I said seems all nonsense, please ignore me. I just said what I personally felt.

Several years ago I thought I could see three male faces in the moon - but I'm in the Southern Hemisphere, so I believe it's different. Then when I was in the Northern Hemisphere, I completely forgot. I also forgot about the water spiralling down the drain. But, Linda also corrected her image slightly in her star notes ( www.star-notes.com ), but it still seems similar from the book. Are you a cancer by any chance? Remember how she said that cancer people may cry when they first see it? I once tried to show a cancer guy where it was, but like I said, we're in the southern hemisphere, so I don't think it works.Welcome BTW Dean. IP: Logged |

Hi I'm also in the southern hemisphere and love to moon gaze but I must admit that I too haven't been able to see the lady. Is there anyone out there in the southern hemisphere who has?IP: Logged |

Hmmm. Does the hemisphere matter? Why would it? I mean, the same side of the moon is always facing Earth, no matter where you are, right?I think it's all in the timing. Here in the northern hemisphere, she can be seen correctly when the moon is on its way down, setting. Otherwise, she is upside down. IP: Logged |

Hmm, after your post Ra, I feel dizzy. I mean, am I upside down? I think so. But I see your point, the sun is always the same. But I can't help but think, if the moon orbited above the equator, then it could have an up and down, but then, I think it moves up and down - it wobbles. I think it is upside down. I haven't tried looking upside down. I'll give it a go. I also thought there could be a north-south polar power thing in there - like only the north people can see it properly. I mean, if you lived on the equator, would you have to look sideways? Like I said, dizzy... Dean. IP: Logged |

I got up at 5am the other morning- and the moon was huge! Anyway it occured to me to try and site the face. Anyway I apparently made out the hair, neck, and facial shape of the lady. It was very obvious, but it was too dim to see any other features. Neat experience though! Im in VIC, and someone said it should be upside down- but either it was my eyes tricking me, or I really did see it! ------------------ "And dreams, don't ever forget, are the first step in manifesting wishes into reality"-- Linda Goodman's Star Signs IP: Logged |

Yes, Welcome The one! That's lovely amisha, you see it all the time! I suppose once you see it the first time- you'll see it with ease every time. Also, recently, because it's been on my mind, last night I had a dream that I was looking out my window at the moon, and the face of the lady was very vivid. And then I started to get teary eyed. ------------------ "And dreams, don't ever forget, are the first step in manifesting wishes into reality"-- Linda Goodman's Star Signs IP: Logged |

I feel a strong connection to the moon too, as my moon is exactly conjunct my pluto in libra, in the 9nth house.I've trying to see the lady as described by Linda since I read 'Star Signs'. But not yet! Time will tell! Art though pale for weariness? Of climbing heaven, gazing on the earth Wandering amongst the stars Which have a different birth. And everchanging- Like a joyless eye That finds no object Worth its constancey.
