Heres a painting I found from Leonardo's contemporary Pietro Perugino (Pietro Vannucci) (1445-1523):

Whats remarkable about this painting is that the two figures standing on the right are standing in an identical pose. One is John and the other Mary Magdalene.
Wonder what this painter like Da Vinci from his own painting last supper are trying to tell. They both were renaissance painter and concealed a message in their painting to avoid persecution. It is also possible that they knew each other.
Also to add, unlike, Dan Brown the author, I believe the one sitting closest to Jesus is indeed John and not Mary as his fiction works suggests.
The mysterious disciple whom Jesus loved is none other than John and not Mary. And in the last supper Peter is seemingly whispering in to the mysterious persons ears.
What does LL seem to think ? I know that Dean is working on a similar thread and I thought may be this would be fuel for his thought.
It is John, the disciple who lets in Peter thru the gate before on the night of crucifixion and before the rooster crows 3 times. John is already in because he knows the high priests. John and his brother James are supposed to be rich as per my thesis.
Also is it John the first male disciple to go near the tomb when Mary brings the news to the rest of the disciple.
Also Jesus says he wants John to "live" till he comes back in the last chapter of John. Wonder what he meant by that?
I also Wonder who wrote the book of John? Is Mary magdalene the author? And thats why refers to John as the beloved disciple and refrains from naming him? Did they all did this on purpose?
BTW I haven't read Dan Brown's book but only a TV special? If you did please point out to me my errors.
Peace.
