Do any Scorpios out there remember having many nightmares as children. My six year old has them and I remember having them often as a kid. I also used to sleep walk down 12 stairs most nights! I know a Scorpio guy who is as easy as a breeze to deal with, very laid back, but as a child his nightmares became so bad his parents took him to hospital and he got his brain wired up and stuff. Is it something to do with the "dark" side of the sign or maybe an over active imagination...........anyone, any comments? ThanksIP: Logged |

Good question. I think sensitive children are more likely to have nightmares. Water signs are considered to be more prone to this type of behavior. A co-worker with a 3 year old Scropio mentioned how her daughter is having nightmares. As a child I was terrified to go to sleep thinking I'd be crushed by my olders sister's bunk bed or spirits were around me. I also had some irrational view that a burglar would break into the house through mey bedroom window. I'm Cancer Sun mercury venus, Pisces moon and Scorpio neptune. My father was also very violent when I was a child and these nightmares were most importantly a result of the chaos in the house.
If these are major nightmares counseling would be a good idea. If they are nightmares because of worrying or extrasensitivity perhaps a protection prayer would be a good idea. Being raised Catholic I loved the the prayer of the guardian angel being at my side. Just change the "If I should die before I wake" to to light and love and show the way wording. Another prayer is the Unity prayer. The light of God surrounds me, the love of God enfolds me, the power of God protects me, the presence of God watches over me. 3rd house Mars, Venus and Sun in Scorpio.I had ALOT of nightmares as a child. I did sleepwalk, sleep talk, and usually ended up on the floor completely rolled up in my blankets like a burrito most nights. I also "saw" alot of future events in my life, but the complete opposite happened as I came to the event.
Like, I had a nightmare once when I was 5 or 6 that I was standing in this strange house putting up a Christmas tree, and a knock sounded at the front door. I did NOT want to go to the front door, because I was convinced in my dream that my mom was there and I didn't want to see her. At the time of this dream, I was living with my mother. Flash forward to me being 16...in my father's "not so strange" house, putting up the Christmas tree, a noise from the basement makes me look at the front door, and I about FAINT! It wouldn't have bothered me if my mom was at the door, I would have just dreaded the "headache" of it... but that dream dejavu (sp) just freaks me out everytime it happens!
Now I know I have dreams every nite and rarely remember them, but haven't had the abundance of nightmares since I moved out of my mom's house when I was 14. I have seen a family friend who had passed a few weeks before the dream.. she waved at me and smiled. Also for a few months saw the same giant spider build a web around my bed every night. After talking to a family friend/pyschic, she assured me that it was a "protection" tatic in my subconscious. Angela

My little sister has always been a sleep walker/talker and has had chronic bad dreams and she is a scorpio, but also a 16 by name and a 16 by birth. I always figured that was why. I never thought about scorpios. My older sister is also a dreamer, remembering the tonyest detail of her dreams and usually relaying them to me.IP: Logged |

I'm not a Scorpio unfortunately but I am a Taurus and used to sleep walk and talk and hear and see things my others siblings could not. My older sister Ronnie told me she used to have conversations with me while I was sleep talking. It would totally freak her out. One time she caught me hanging out the second story window of our childhood home saying I got to get it I got to get it. Til this day I wish I knew what that thing was I had to get?LOLIP: Logged | |
