Someone told me once that they had a book which talked about experiments which were done on astral-travel. People who believed that they could astral-travel at will were asked to participate. The researchers would then place an object high in the room which they could not possibly see or know about. Then the person was asked what it was afterwards and apparently there were some interesting results. This was a long time ago, so I don't know what book it was in. Has anybody ever thought about trying this? (I am not currently able to astral-travel, though I used to have recurring dreams about flying as a child!) IP: Logged

He really creeped me out because he had a crush on me and would psychically invade my privacy. Which is really hypocritical, because if I could astral travel, I'd go visit my crush. IP: Logged

It never ceases to excite me when I hear evidence of the supernatural realm, though it may sometimes 'unearth' the nerves & senses a bit! That guy you knew may be playing clever tricks with you however, so beware and be skeptical. p.S. If my dreams can manifest into reality then there will be a) world harmony (harmony lexigrams into 'no harm') and b) I will find my Twin S-elf; Twin S-elves will be a reality.....c) I will have deep discussions with Michael Jackson about life & the universe & climb his special tree d) I will hang out with Johnny Depp and his soul mate Vanessa Paradis e) I will spend some time with various native Indian tribes such as the Hopi and Kogi.......f) I will be accomplished at something creative to bring money in and make me independent and h) have the power to make a difference in the world, to help others. Neither seems to like the other's answers though. Yes, this is the correct forum. Astral Realms is more for dreams or what you see in other realms, but this one is for discussions about everything really. Zoso, maybe you could do something similar. Point at a spot on the ceiling and write something, then ask the guy to read that astrally. I'd be sceptical about someone walking past something and saying they saw it before. Unless they could describe its contents, like a draw or something. But even then, they could be snoopers... Stay cool, Dean. ------------------ Always think compassion... I didn't say there were no astral realms forum, I even recommended he asked Ra a few things, as Ra has been quite helpful regarding those matters. Take it easy... LostInStrangeWorld Knowflake Posts: 33 From: Bristol, England Registered: Mar 2005	posted March 17, 2005 07:02 AM Sunchild, Yes, I have had a dream about meeting my Twin S-elf- when I was 9 years old, and it has caused me a lot of pain from hopeless yearning- as I have been prone to disillusions (I go into detail over this dream and whole issue in the thread titled 'Twin S-elves, do u believe?' in the Soul Unions forum. I am currently with someone who I believe to be a Twin Soul, but not my Twin S-elf...and right now I don't know if we might be breaking up... I don't even know if I can believe in Twin S-elves. I thought my faith was coming back, but I'm just not sure. I spent an incredible amount of energy as a child trying to Image/Ordain it, but obviously it didn't work so I grew up, became a 'tortured soul', tormented by so many questions (about EVERYTHING), prone to bouts of depression which held me back in life....... Perhaps Twin S-elves is a reality, a truth- only I'm not evolved enough to meet mine yet (my moon is exactly conjunct my Pluto and I do have very intense emotions- not always a positive thing!). But I don't know. On a lighter note(!), there are some dreams which come true, yes. I've never wanted to be famous though- no way- couldn't stand it!! However, there are (a FEW) famous people I would like to meet, as I feel I could relate to them. I'm always trying to Image/Ordain being able to meet kindred spirits, but it just doesn't happen very often (apart from here, of course!!). Do you know why I'm so drawn to Linda Goodman? I can relate to her SO much, it's as if we really are kindred spirits/group souls/from the same planet. I feel as if she is my spirit mother. The funny thing is, when I look at pictures of her, I even look a bit like her! Scarey? Maybe we have similar ancestry which gives us similar personalities......... Anyway, I'll stop rambling! But the desire to actually be famous wouldn't be a priority. Whenever I sleep in a room with another person, I get a really bad night's sleep, lots of dreams, etc. I spent three weeks in a hotel in Spain in the same room as my grandma and didn't get a good night's sleep for the entire time. I don't know a lot about this subject, but could it have to do with my astral? Thanks for any help. IP: Logged
