I've played the cube a number of times with friends, though I must admit that seeing it on the internet was a little disappointing. Not because it's easier to access, but because it's something I've done in the privacy of someone's home over tea or in the back of cozy coffee house with good friends. Ambiance, ritual, etc. All that good for something nonsense. Anyhoo, I find it to be very enlightening, particularly the first time you play it. Remember not to talk about its methods and ways with those who've never done it before or you'll ruin their experience when they do. Have fun with the cube! ------------------ "This above all: to thine own self be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man." - Shakespeare IP: Logged |

Whoa! This is neat, I just wrote out my imagining stuff, I'll have to interpret all of it later (I have a lot of details...very vivid imagination over here!). Thanks for that! IP: Logged |

Ok now that I have time to think about the "results" from this excercise I must say I'm a little depressed. It reinforced my belief that I will never get married or have a family. And this "horse" is Mr. freedom loving, attractive and knows-it, noncommital, etc. My cube was about 2 miles away so it seems "horsey boy" wasn't even an option. My tiny short white wild flowers are pets or something that horsey was sniffing - I guess he'll like my dog whenever I get it.I've been pretty bummed about this all day, because it makes my boring life seem even more meaningless. Blah! Blah! I want a new life!IP: Logged |

My horse was a tired, skinny and worn out looking thing, barely holding up his head in a sad-cowboy type reference. I guess I do like cowboys....but not old skinny ones!!!! What was that all about? I must have some issues. IP: Logged |

My hubby had mostly THE SAME!!! answers as me, and any differences were true to life.. his ladder was farther away, while mine was propped rght up to the cube, and I even said it looked inviting! His was fifty metres away, yet stury.... His horse was trotting around the cube.. ha! and was a show horse, with a topless lady on it.. ha ha.IP: Logged |

I have to spend some more time looking through the end section, "interpreting your cube", but this was really interesting. ~ I'll have to see if I can find the book through the library website. IP: Logged |

Yes, very interesting! And kinda fun. The questions sure do give you a mental image hey?Kat and zoso, I'd just like to say that I think the game is primarily instantaneous - ie how you're feeling right now. Everything would change regarding your disposition at the moment of playing the game. However, I think it could be useful in seeing how you feel right now, and then maybe you can analyse where you want to go, or whether there were more things in your image taht you didn't quite notice or analyse. But nothing is ever set in stone. Heaps of Love, Dean. IP: Logged |

Very interesting to hear what other people visualized.Pixie, that is a riot - your hubby's horse. Interesting that your ladder was leaning against your cube. Mine was floating in front of me and would zoom away and come back and hover in front of me. It was silvery and dark blue. Unknown or other worldly alien-like material. IP: Logged |

That is one freaky ladder... but its yours and I love it. Yeah.. in terms of friendships.. I need valuable people in my life. Even if I am feeling a void there, I need it. I like to go out and surround myself with interesting people and interact. But at the same time, I also feel the need for solitude almost as much. My ladder was sturdy, evenly spaced rungs.. comfortable and worn.. wooden with paint splatters. I was surprised when I read the interpretations, that paint splatters was actually on there! MMy hubby can take it or leave it. He has a fab time with friends, but he doesn't necessarily need that... for instance, he isn't a member of any sort of club or sport or organization.. He has in the past ( at the urging of his core group of male friends) but he didn't care for the organized aspect of it.. he's more casual. So our ladders truly reflected that. I pictured my cube, but then I also pictured me.. so I was writing things in relation to a cube where I could see it.... My cube was diaphanous and transparent , like dragonfly wings, I invited people to climb the top of the ladder to have a look inside and I wondered what you could see from such a great height. Mine was the size of a house.. hee hee.. ego anyone? My hubbies was the size of a stove.. but both our cubes were the same material.. which was neat. Just felt like sharing... IP: Logged |

LOL! I meant my cube. The ladder was wooden, a little worn out and far away, a free standing one that was sticking out of the sand. Makes sense because my friends are "far away" from me now.Wow! Your cube was big! Mine, like I said above, was floating and hovering, zooming in and out and was about the size of my hand. I dont know what it was made of exactly but it was cool looking. Thanks for sharing. Interesting all the different things people see and what they show about that person when you start putting it all together. I wish I could actually see what other people pictured in their minds.

I loved reading all your responses! I wish I kept my story. But I remember the desert was vast with a pyramid in the distance, and the sun shine was glowing in the pyrmaid direction. The cube was etheral in nature with blue colours revolving around the pyramid. The ladder was made of gold and it went up the pyramid into the cube. And the storm came and I described it being a tornado, blowing lots of wind. And the ladder was safety into the cube. The horse came before the storm, and it was a white and wise horse. And the horse spoke to me telepathecally saying a storm was coming, but I will be ok because it will pass quickly. When the tornado came I climbed up the ladder, up above the pyramid and into the cube, where I no longer could feel the powerful wind, nor the noise of the tornado. And I climbed up into a rose bush that had no thorns. (Inside the cube- into a floral garden-I mainly described the 'flower' as roses.) ------------------ "And dreams, don't ever forget, are the first step in manifesting wishes into reality"-- Linda Goodman's Star Signs

Glad I could give you a peak into my mind Our cubes were similar, you notice? I want my other half to do it, but it will be a hard task to get him to sit there for 20 minutes describing things!

Sesame, I think your right, there was more to this than I acknowledged. I think I intuitively knew that I was the cube so I became the cube and when I visualized scenes it was from the "cube's" perspective. In the scene where the horse was sniffing the flowers, he looked up and looked straight into my eyes. I/ the "cube" was only 6 feet away not the miles and miles that I originally thought.IP: Logged |

Pixel "show-horse with a topless lady"i had clear blue liquid penetrable cube about 10x10. an polished wood ladder about 50-100 feet from me on the ground but reaching the sky. my horse was white with a long tail and light blue eyes *which is rare* adn he was walking away from me, snorting. i noticed 5 fuscia flowers, one of which was under the horses hoof. my storm were little funnels kicking up dust and then fading, not affecting any objects. interesting test. i went ahead and signed up and took another 150+ quiz which was interesting.. here it is: http://personal.ansir.com/test.htm i'm a visionary/healer/empath "type"..which i bet most of us here are IP: Logged |
