I don't think you're a nutcase! I think you're really wise! My parents don't exactly like the fact I'm looking into astrology, wicca, numerology, and most other things (they believe its rubbish) but as long as I don't jump of a cliff claiming God told me to, they're fine.

And when we talk to "God" can it hear? And is it all right to show infamiliarity with it? I mean, I'v eread so much about showing respect, and thanking it (by the way, is our higher selve a god? Can a higher self be named Angel? Or did I make that up?)And I do...sometimes I'd spend a few minutes at night before I go to bed just thanking It (can it hear?) but...I mean...do I even know it? Oh dear...see, I've a few people in my...er...mind...There's Angel, my higher self, or whatever appeared when I did that medidtation. There's Sandra, a lady I dreamed, and decided was another of my higher self. And then there's Archangel Micheal (was he real?) who's my protector. Then there's Wolf, my animal guardian (first animal to pop in my head with that other meditation)and then there's my Lord of Karma. (Another meditation) He's more of a grandfatherly type--bet he was the one who made me apology to the guy (long story, awkward, but rewarding, afterwards, anyhoo) do they really exist, do you think? Or did I imagine them up? I've a great imagination...that's waht my astrological report said, and its true too...

What are some of the universal laws that we must follow? And you know how whatever we believe is what is true? Or at least, for us? I mean, that is true to an extent...but if you believed a bird is a dog, well, it's not. It's still a bird...right?

Crud...it's late...school tomorrow! Thank you again.

You are such a breath of fresh air, with your honest quest to learn and understand. I feel I must give serious thought in replying to your questions. That is why I don't answer right away. So I'll "talk" to you later!
Love and blessings upon you!

If it won't upset your parents, I'd like to recommend some books to you.

oh oh! Another question...I swear, it'll be my last one for the week! Er, you talked about God, right? Well, I already know there isn't a "god god" so then waht exactly is this God I'd be talking to?

I'll answer the God question after you tell me your Theory on "What is God?". As for the books....Your public library! FREE! If they do not have what you want, ask them about inter-library loans! You can get books from virtually any library in America and I think Canada too! Back asap!

My theory on God...

I used to think of god as a cross between a grandfather and a santa clause. One who watched upon his grandchildren, and give presents here and there. You know, one who would give hugs and kisses, and also serve punishments when nesesary.

can't talk long...elaborate later...god energy?

Are there any chants that work? Magical chants, I mean? That can make one beautiful, or gain riches, or become brighter, or a chant for patience? Do you know any little secrets that can improve life? Will you tell me something that I do not know. (It's a pain not knowing what it is that you do not know, but I will know it as soon as someone tells me the thing that I won't know, then I will know that I didn't know it, but then now I do know...)

Oh, and to go back on teh god thing...I don't think there is one GOD, but there is acosmic energy, and it is a bit like my grandfather/santa clause ideal, because it can love (it must love, to have create all these...but then why did it create the bad? Or even allow it to do so?)but its more of an energy then any solid form. A spirit? Maybe? I'd like to speak with it, like, face to face. and I'd cry with it, cry for all the crappy things going on in the world. Then i'd hug it, and give it a kleenex (cuz it cried with me, and would need something to blow it's nose) and then...then...er...then it'll let me go to that New Age store to buy some chakra balancing jewelry. Cheap ones of course, you've no idea how utterly expensive some of those things are! Hmph!

I think you're a nutcase, fayte.m.

... jay kay .

That's really interesting. I'm still a bit confused, but you made some good points. Although I agree with Christina, I've thought of God as just a cosmic energy in everything, not a real entity that you could 'talk' to. But I guess prayer is still a good thing though, as a therapeutic technique.

God is a universal creative force Christina. He is part of everything. He is not a man or person but an energy force best understood as a light force. There are no beginings or endings with God, for infinity has no end. No one can be beyond the limitless for what has no limits must be everywhere. You are also part of God because if you were not, his will would not be unified. We are one with God because he is our source. You may not understand it now, but you are not a mere body but a divine spark of light.

God is Light, it says in the Bible and what is not of him has no power to do anything.

Please think in terms of physics and adamantine particles - so called the God Particles that make up everything in the universe. An intelligent creative force.

What do you guys know of Islamic magic? I've a few talismans I've copied from the webt (with permission) and it talked briefly of how we can't just copy it, we gotta...do something else?

Please don't mess with talisman magic Christina especially if you are not familiar with the possible consequences. Talismans are powerful because they are infused, in fact anything can become a talisman. It is simply an object that has been charged for a definite purpose. One must be careful of the purpose this talisman has been charged with and by whom. Metal talismans are stronger than non metal. Though it is fair to say there are a few gems equally powerful and also a few plants. It is an influence that the wearer or carrier will adopt. Be sure not to mess with ancient talismans if you know not their history or purpose of charge.

is this one bad? It looks so pretty....most of the ones I looked up are for protection, and love, and ...and...success and waht nots...is it really dangerous. Sigh...see, this is what I was slightly afraid of...is it all right if i just have copies of it saved on my computer? or must i get rid of it completely? Don't you have to wear it for it to work?

hey christina, if you let the bugs be, they wont hurt you.
If you be brave enough you can use something to pick them up with and put them outside.
But don't be scared of them.

Christina these are more art. These types of Mandala's symbolize balance and all that is endless and seemless. You can find these in all cultures Hindu, Buddhist, Celtic, Native American and more. These speak more to the eye of the beholder. They are not the type of talisman I thought you were writing about.

I had some bad experiences with an Islamic magician about 19 years ago who made very strong talisman objects for large amounts of money. It was not good at all. Beware of people who make, draw or infuse special personal talisman objects for money.

They normally need something that is personally from you to do it well. A photograph or perhaps a letter of consent, money exchange, telephone conversation or something that is you. These things give them a personal energetic link to you which makes you easier to manipulate.

It was not my intention to scare you. I'm sorry.

There are no shortcuts to wisdom and knowlege. Without wisdom and patience, letting our wants, desires and fear overpower our reason, chaos will ensue. Do no harm...do not be selfish...The more you hurry, the more blocks and bumps will slow your progress or even cause you to go where you should not.
Gia and SunChild have given you good advice.
Talismans, and any other psychic tool must be taken seriously. Such things are not for fun and games.God is in you and all about.

SO it's all right to have these, right Gia? Will it work, all the same? Can I just print a copy, and put it on my wall, and have success and love and all come? And don't worry, I'm so glad that you gave me the warning, just in case. What do you say about talisman sold on a Pagan website? Along with other jewelries? They only want money for it, no personal information or whatnot. But thank you for the warning...I'm glad I can always have you to watch what I'm doing...

Fatye. m, I understand what you mean about there being no shortcuts to wisdom and knowledge, in the spiritual sence, but what is it that I should be doing in the more physical way? Should I stop reseraching, asking? Should I just not jump ahead into things too quickly?

I think I do have a tendency to try to push ahead as quickly as I can, but I never ever try to harm anyone. I was more looking into talismans to help my mom with her work (she's a compound 16, which means that no matter what job she has, there's always someone who wants to knock her off) and I wanted some talisman, or chant, or whatever, for protection, around the house, maybe in my doggie's bed corner area. Then a success talisman, for me and my sisters. Do not be selfish--oh dear...I'll try. I'm a bit on the selfish side...

This would be so much easier if I had someone who knows all these things living with or near me.

The thing is, I figured that since I am 15 now, I have as much freetime as I will ever get. Figured when I'm older, I'll hardly ever have the time to research, or find things out, because of work and all...so I'm trying to get as much understood before then...hm...seems a lot more sence in my head then it does in text...and hey! You still haven't answered all the above questions...giggles. Just Kidding, you don't have too...but I am curoius about the whole God thing. Can god really be with me? And what do you think of my karmic debts? Have I paid most of it?

Oh, and Sunchild, I didn't bother it...it was just yucky looking. I'm afraid it might run around the house and bite people. See, I was bitten ten times a few weeks ago by a bug over night (i think) and I swear, I did nothing to anything! lol...I've always been grossed out by bugs...and ycuk! Pick them up? I was thinking of putting a bucket or glass above it, and slip a piece of paper inside, but I thought of its beedy eyes and long twitching antenas, and how far and high it jumps....well...

Well, thank you all
