No I haven't, BUT last 10 days or so, I've tried to recall what was the name of the author a aquintance of mine enthusiastically lectured about. I remebered quite well why I appreciated him so much, but the name eluded me. Until I saw it here, that is.

Very grateful for your posting.

Wow! I've never heard of this guy, but he sounds intensely interesting (i.e. fascinating, lol). Me so intrigued.

Thanks fayte!

yes ive read a few Velikovsky books....in them he proposes various alternate timelines of history that often incorporate astronomical occurances like comets, perturbations of the earths orbit and other planets in ancient history......
his books are VERY thought provoking .........his understanding of history is very broad......
many mainstream scientists like to label him a ' quack' by picking apart flaws in the physics required.......but in my opinion it takes very little modification in his theories to produce convincing ties between astrohistory and comparative mythology....

ages of chaos and world's in collision are on the required reading list

No worries, it was just something I found when I did a search.
I always get curious when I hear new names.

'Mankind in Amnesia', that sounds interesting!
