I'm 27 The Sceptre.. it's also my 'age'.

Sheaa Olein equals 36.. I cannot recall the definition now. Does anyone have a Star Signs to hand by any chance?

My name number is 13.
If i use the middle initial its 17.
My birth number is 12.

I dont use the initial because then the 17 reduces to an 8. I used to but decided to change that.

These numbers have proved to be 100% on target for me.

I'm not sure how to do this. Any primers? Sounds interesting.

PS. I think I'd like to do it myself first, just need to know how.

*Edit* Actually my full name added up as a 28 compound. That's even weirder*

Would that be reduced to a 10, and then reduced to 1?
I was also born on the 28th of October and that reduces to a 1.

Maybe I was supposed to be a Leo, I have a 1st house Sun too! This is really amazing me now!

I'm a DOUBLE 17 ** Star of the Magi ** Name and birth number.
I chose a tough path this time around.

The number 8 has followed me everywhere throughout my life. And I attract alot of other 8 people into my life. Linda has a whole chapter in Star Signs dedicated to the numbers 4 & 8, The Numbers of Fate & Destiny.

**************************************
17, The Star of the Magi
This is a highly spiritual number, and was expressed in symbolism by the
ancient Chaldeans as the 8-pointed Star of Venus. The Star of the Magi
is the image of Love and Peace, and promises that the person or entity
it represents will rise superior in spirit to the trials and
difficulties of earlier life, with the ability to conquer former failure
in personal relationships and the career. 17 is "the number of
Immortality," and indicates that the person's (or entity's) name will
live after them. This is an extremely fortunate compound number with one
warning: it reduces to the Single number 8.

There is a chapter in "Star Signs" by Linda Goodman that is dedicated
to the numbers 4 and 8 as these are the Numbers of Fate and Destiny.
These pages are not included in this program as they are quite lengthy
and involved. Any number that reduces to these are explained further
in Linda's book.

***************************************
Reduces to a single number 8

People or entities with the number 8 are normally quiet, reserved, and
shy. They don't obviously push ahead, but slowly and surely they will
get where they want to go, and nothing will stop them from achieving
their ambitions. The shyness and reticence is a cover for an intense
drive to reach the top of the profession or career. They make excellent
teachers and counsellors, most of them could be successful in the tough
game of politics (although now and then there's a sour apple in the
barrel) - and they excel at anything that requires patience and
intelligent deduction.

Those influenced by the 8 vibration may have poor health in childhood,
but they grow more robust when they reach maturity, and longevity is
common with 8 men and women. These people are willing to wait for their
plans to bear fruit, and use the waiting time wisely. It's rare to find
an 8 person procrastinating or "goofing off." They have an inborn sense
of duty and responsibility that won't allow them to take a careless
attitude toward what is expected of them. Most of those born under the
8 influence are as reliable as a grandfather clock, and as cosy to be
around as a grandma quilt or comforter. They have a rich sense of
humour, but one has to watch for it; it's subtle and never obvious.
These people behave as if they don't care a peanut what people think of
them, and they appear to be turned off by compliments, yet inwardly
they care very much what people think of them, and if the compliments
are sincere, they secretly enjoy them, although they'll hide their
pleasure for fear they might be considered weak. To be considered weak
is the very last thing they want to happen.

Although the 8 vibration, like all the single number birth vibrations,
interacts always with the person's Sun Sign, and the traits aren't
always present - they only surface on occasion - most 8 people have very
deep and intense natures and great inner strength. They often play an
important in life's drama, and many times are the instrument of Fate for
others. There's a tendency toward fanaticism in religion, and they'll
stick by what they believe relentlessly, in the face of all opposition.
They make loving friends, but bitter enemies.

Although 8 people appear to be cold and undemonstrative with those they
love and trust, they can be shyly affectionate and warmly devoted.
They're often lonely, needing desperately to be loved, and they're
capable of great sacrifices for an ideal, an ambition, or for those who
depend on them. They grow younger in appearance and behaviour as they
grow older - they look and act younger at fifty than they did when they
were twenty. They're as demanding of themselves as they are of others,
but for all the outward attitudes of wisdom and maturity, self-control,
and discipline, the 8 person's heart is lonely and longing, and they
need to learn that the pursuit of happiness is not a sin.

6 + 11 + 7 = 24
(Love, Money, Creativity)
"Life of Karmic Reward"

Day and Life-Path both = 6 (Vibrates to Venus)

first 8
middle 4
last 5

8 + 4 + 5 = 17 (Star of the Magi)

17 = 8 (Vibrates to Saturn)

Or, first last = 13 (Regeneration - Change)
This sounds a lot like me:

"13 is not an unlucky number, as many people believe. The ancients claimed that 'he who understands how to use the number 13 will be given power and dominion.' The symbol of 13 is a skeleton, or death, with a scythe, reaping down men in a field of new-grown grass, where young faces and heads appear to be thrusting through the ground and appearing on all sides. 13 is a number of upheaval, so that new ground may be broken. It's associated with power, which, if used for selfish purposes, will bring destruction upon itself. There is a warning of the unknown and the unexpected. Adapting to change gracefully will bring out the strength of the 13 vibration, and decrease any potential for negative. 13 is associated with genius -- also, with explorers, breaking the orthodox and new discoveries of all kinds."

I'm new, shy...I love Linda's star sign book.
I just recently endured some physical pain from nine years of loneliness. I'm very heavy in water signs.
My names compound number is 31.
This fits me perfect.
My birth compound is 11.
This one confuses me.

28

The Trusting Lamb

28 is a number of puzzling and frustrating contradictions. It symbolizes a person or entity of fine promise, even genius, and great possibilities, with the capability of achieving great success, and the 28 person frequently does acheive such success, only to see everything taken away unless he or she has provided carefully for the future. It indicates loss through misplaced trust in others, powerful opposition from enemies and competitors in business or career, danger of serious losses in courts of law -- and the possibility of having to begin the life-path over and over again. The karmic lessons of prudence, caution, and well-laid plans must be learned and practiced. When this is done, the negative aspect of the 28 vibration will be substantially diluted. The key is to look before you leap.

Welcome to LL, WaterCat.

There are a lot of great people here who are willing to offer some support when you need it.

I'm sorry to hear about your past misfortunes.

Most people will never understand your deeply sensitive nature, but that is just their own ignorance, immaturity, and lack of compassion (i.e. sensitivity). It's not their fault, they just expect everyone else to be like them, and they blame you for being different.
But whatever.

Be kind to yourself by trying not to dwell on this. Take time to be alone, for that will give your watery nature a chance to settle. Only then will the reflections you see in yourself be clear and undistorted.

"Your dagger will never serve you as a mirror. Even angels' faces, in a dagger, appear cruel as devils."

- Rumi

If you can keep thinking positively, and try to love, forgive, understand, and be patient with yourself and others, you'll see things will definitely begin to look up for you.

"Love is the answer, and you know that for sure."

- John Lennon

"And the day came, when the risk it took to remain tight in a bud was greater than the risk it took to blossom."

- Anais Nin

30 and 12.

fayte.m and thebigeliza, if you push the Magical Logic number on my program, you can read how it is calculated, but I think it doesn't go into too much detail. Each name should be spelt out, and the the numbers written above or below. Add all the numbers in the name, and if it's greater than ten, reduce them by adding their digits. There are a few rules on this though, and this is where it gets tricky. For example:

15 + 17 = 6 + 8 = 14.

However,

15 + 12 = 6 + 3 = 9 which isn't a compound number - it should be 15 + 12 in this case = 37. Make sense?

Dean.
