Question and theory- ok, if mirrors can absorb, and record such negative events as the boy who was roasted,,, then can they not also absorb and record possative events, and energies from very happy possative peaple ? Or help make a gateway connection for a deceased loved one who wishes to watch over you ? If they work one way in the negative,,, then it has to work the other way as well ,,, rite ? And the smae for any other gem, metal, object that is a good conducter to absorb things off of us . ? IP: Logged |

thank you for this post, it is fascinating. I have always hated mirrors, I fear seeing something in them which can only be seen in the mirror. Which doesn't make sense, I'll explain that it started when I was 8 years old and I saw an illustration in a book of a lady looking in a mirror and brushing her hair, in the mirror a ghost is visible but it's not in the room with her, it can only be seen as a reflection. It scared me greatly and I tend to put mirrors where I can't see them or don't look in them unless its really necessary. It never occurred to me that it is something that could happen. I guess I hate mirrors as they show us a lot more than we may be happy to accept.IP: Logged |

I wanted to bump up this thread. It seems to be my continuing saga of this ankh that I have. I can't say I really own it, because it seems to defy ownership. Or something. Well, as previously mentioned this ankh had been given to me by my mother-in-law who had brought it back for me from her travels to Egypt in 1984. It had special meaning because 1. she gave it to me and 2. she gave it to me in 1984, the year my son was born and, 3. I love Egypt and hope to go some day. As mentioned, I had gone through 5, maybe 6 gold chains because they all kept breaking, and even had one chain repaired, twice. I never lost the ankh, strangely enough, even though by now I would have thought I would considering all the opportunities to lose it, but never did. This past summer 2005, I bought another gold chain, and wore it with the ankh. Just this January, guess what, the chain broke. I noticed the chain had broken, but still around my neck, only the ankh was missing. I'm thinking, "Ok, where did it go...?" and had a feeling of dread. The last place I felt it was around my neck in the shower maybe an hour before and I had not left the house. So, I checked the shower (and the drain), and figured it was gone for good this time. I looked everywhere in my house, under everything, no ankh. So, I considered getting a new one but loved this one so much, it had to be exactly like it. But kind of forgot about it and something told me it wasn't urgent to get one, so I decided to wait even though I bookmarked some websites with some that were of the same quality (22k and 3/4" in length). Well, guess what? About 3 weeks ago, I was straightening things up and going through some things...I moved this shopping bag full of reading material, and under the bag was my ankh! I had already looked all over, everywhere at home, even in this spot. So, something very mystical is happening. I immediately thanked the Universe for bringing it back to me. But....wow! I'm still amazed. My ankh is now safely in my jewelry box....come to think of it, I'd better go check... IP: Logged |

Wow, so much for wanting a room in my house to be completely covered in mirrors... Unless I can find those crystal ones I love how when you put two mirrors in front of each other, it's like looking into an endless hall. I wonder what this says about them? IP: Logged |

as cool as that looks i've done that with a camera plugged into a t.v, you point the camera onto what it is showing and it seems infinite, i wonder if you left a new mirro in the "wild" amoungst the birds and trees and brought it home with you, i wonder if it would bring harmony into you home?IP: Logged | |
