When the student is ready,
The world appears to teach.All things speak of God,
But the voice of God is Silence. In Silence we remember what we know to be most true,
And that is the Divine Right of Love. To reach the Silence of Knowing,
Contemplate Love. A short prayer pierces the heavens... Think "LOVE". Be persistent,
And you will remember

What LOVE means to you. Love is the Bread of Life;
For Life is Spiritual, and Love is Food for the Spirit. "My friends, how desperately do we need to be loved and to love. When Christ said that man does not live by bread alone, he spoke of a hunger. This hunger was not the hunger of the body. It was not the hunger for bread. He spoke of a hunger that begins deep down in the very depths of our being. He spoke of a need as vital as breath. He spoke of our hunger for love.
Love is something you and i must have. We must have it because our spirit feeds upon it. We must have it because without it we become weak and faint. Without love our self-esteem weakens. Without it our courage fails. Without love we can no longer look out confidently at the world. We turn inward and begin to feed upon our own personalities, and little by little we destroy ourselves.
With it we are creative. With it we march tirelessly. With it, and with it alone, we are able to sacrifice for others." - Chief Dan George You have the power to Love.
It is within you at this moment. Speak the Word, "LOVE".
Do not force anything,
For Love cannot be forced,
And Love requires no forcing. Be Patient, Be Gentle with Yourself.
This is not contrary to your true nature. Allow yourself to express freely what you are;
Your Closest Friend. Have faith in the power of Love to embrace obstacles.
Where there is no resistance, there is no enemy. In the light of Love, all "enemies" become friends.
Even a blow becomes a caress. One thing is needed, and that is faith;
Faith in Love. Be Faithful in Love,
And know that nothing is needed. Books, teachers, and teachings shall pass away,
But Love is a Truth Forever. Empty yourself of all teachings,
and You will be Full of Love. There is one Law, written on your hearts.
As the heart grows, so the law expands,
Until all is full of Grace. Who can tell you what you know beyond words?

I can see what you mean by cliche Kat (I just woke up) but I did enjoy it anyway!!!  I Love a good Cliche! It's like you read a sentence and because of conditioning I just think I know the meaning, but only to be reading, practising, thinking, and experiencing then do we know it's true meaning.
I know your a fan of the daily dig HSC, me too!
It's nice to get reinforcements of Love and Compassion everyday.
You're a deep guy HSC and I've enjoyed many things you write.
I know you feel them too.Just want to tell you that I enjoyed reading that, even before I'm awake! I wanted to write a better reply but I am having trouble stringing sentences together this early morning.

One cannot truely love, until one learns to love themselves. Until then it may feel like love, but it is love based on need for another to validate our being. Love in its truest form is unconditional, and the giving it away, compassion and altruism, that is what causes the love to return to us. But first you must love yourself. This is not an ego trip thing I am speaking of. It is accepting yourself, forgiving yourself, knowing yourself. It is living your life in a way that makes you feel joy in the giving of joy and love.   IP: Logged |

Kat -Yes, it is cliche, as all great truths are cliche. I try to downplay style,
hoping to emphasize substance,
with the result that my words are simple and unoriginal. I dont flatter myself that my beggar's style is universal. To many, it IS a bunch of cliche metaphysical stuff. But, it is the same song you have heard sung by your favorite singers. By all means, ignore my impersonal voice, keep listening to them. They will tell you what I cannot, and they'll do it in style. As for regurgitated... I just think that the more you listen, the deeper you hear. Until we truly listen,

Sometimes people who don't understand those "cliches" yet to be true need to see them a million different ways before they finally see the one that gets through to them, so you see, the same stuff that 99.9% of us here already know, there could be 1 person out there that needed it and it helped.
