Did you ever experience something and then afterwards feel it was a dream? A few years ago I attended a workshop on "Dreams". It was held in a Carmelite Monastery just outside Cork city. At the time I was in a pretty dark place, going thro a horrible post natal depression, (would love to talk about this sometime). Anyway on the second day we were asked to draw a mandala, i chose the colours of purple and yellow and we displayed our work at the front of the class. I couldnt help but notice an amazing piece of work - black and white, very strong, very bold. I turned to the woman next to me and said isnt that black and white piece amazing and I heard a voice behind me say "that is mine". Before he spoke I could feel his energy and presence so strong. As I turned around I got a strange feeling to be greeted by one of the scariest looking people Id ever seen. After the session was over, he came over to me and asked if I would walk around the garden with him. There was a maze and we walked thro that and then around the beautiful grounds. It was one of the most amazing conversations I ever had with a "stranger". I was feeling raw and finding it hard to manage my emotions and said to him that I was so scared of messing up my small child. He turned to me and looked straight at me and said "you cant damage a soul sue". He then proceeded to tell me about his children that he hadnt seen for years and then broke down in tears. He cried three times - I felt he knew me, I felt he was an angel. He then said "peoples lives are like books - some will get to the end page and think what the hell was that all about and others like you and I, as we get to the last page will say, that was hard, but aha I get it". This man felt like a prophet and at my most difficult time he spoke with such strength and conviction. I will never forget him - Michael the Angel. He is an Aries. We were also asked to get into groups of three and I chose two nuns who were barefoot and free in spirit. We went into a room together, crucifix on the wall and me thinking oh dear (thinking of myself as a pagan and all). We had to analyse the others dreams and at the end of an interesting session, one of them turned to me and said "Sue you are one of the most religious people I ever met". Well I nearly fell of my seat - me a non-chuch goer and anti religion etc, but I realised she was picking up on my faith and spiritualty. I asked them how they managed without a male in their lives and they smiled and said we have Jesus!! Wow they were something else and I said to them I will call you my hippy nun friends - they loved that! I shall never forget that weekend, I feel God spoke thro all those people and as for Michael, being an Aries, he gave me more of an understanding of my very precious and sensitive Aries father. I give thanks for all the angels and hippy nuns in the world - God bless em all IP: Logged |
