I havent read the whole book yet, but you can read the whole thing at the link below. From what I've read so far ("Follow Your Bliss") it seems like a good one. No Time For Karma Stepping off the Wheel of Pain and Struggle. Make choices in your life which lead to personal freedom. Understanding reincarnation and metaphysics. This is the home page for the book No Time For Karma by Paxton Robey with Lone Jensen. http://laplaza.org/~paxton/index.html ------------------ "We awaken in others the same attitude of mind we hold toward them." ~Elbert Hubbard IP: Logged |

Studies in Occultism H.P. BlavatskyBut now as then, we have a right to analyze the terms used and inquire in the words of the book of Job, that suggestive allegory of karmic puification and intiatory rites: "Where shall (true) wisdom be found? where is the place of understanding?" and to answer again in his words: "With the acient is wisdom and in the length of days understanding." (Job xxviii, 12, and xii, 12) Here we have to qualify once more a dubious trem, viz: the word "ancient," and to explain it. As interpreted by the orthodox churches, it has in the mouth of Job one meaning; but with the Kabalist, quite snother; while in the Gnostsis of the Occultist and Theosophist is has distinctly a third signification, that same which it had in the original Book of Job, a pre-Mosiac work and recognized treatise on Initiation. Thus, the kabalist applies the adjective "ancient" to the manifested Word or Logos (Dabar) of the forever concealed and oncognizable deity. Daniel, in one of his visions, also uses it when speaking of Jahve--the androgynous Adam Kadmon. The Churchman connects it with his anthromorphic Jehovah, the "Lord God" of the translated Bible. But the Eastern Occultist employs the mystic term only when referring to the incarnating higher Ego. For, divine Wisdom being diffused throughout the infinite Universe, and our impersonal Higher Self being an integral part of it, the atmic light of the latter can be centered only in that which though eternal is still individualized--i.e., the noetic Principle, the manifested God within each rational being, or our Higher Manas at one with Buddhi. It is this collective light which is the "Wisdom that is from up above," and which whenever it descends on the personal Ego, is found "pure, peaceable, gentle." hence, Job's assertion that "Wisdom is with the Ancient," or Buddhi-Manas. For the Divine Spiritual "I," is alone eternal, and the same throughout all births; whereas the "personalities" it informs in succession are evanescent, changing like the shadows of a kaleidoscopic series of forms in a magic lantern. It is the "Ancient," because, whether it be called Sophia, Krishna, Buddhi-Manas, or Chritos, it is ever the "first-born" of Alaya-Mahat, the Universal Soul and the Intelligence of the Universe. Esoterically then, Job's statement must read: "With the Ancient (Man's Higher Ego) is Wisdom, and in the length of days (or number of its reincarnations) is understanding." No man can learn true final Wisdom in one birth; and every new rebirth, whether we be reincarnated for weal or woe, is one more lesson we receive at the hands of the stern yet ever just schoolmaster--KARMIC LIFE. COPYRIGHT 1887-1891 ________________________________ In conclusion, there is no escaping Karma, you reap what you sow, you get what you give. Manifesting and ordaining, have consequences, anything magic you use from this Universe, has to be for the good of ALL no self, in Peace on Earth. Love and Light to ALL IP: Logged |

Not true.It starts with one, with you. Of course you get what you give. Yes, there are consequences to actions. If you are doing harm to another it will come back in some way. By harming your brother, you are harming yourself. It's part of living on this human plane - living in the 3D, at a karmic level. I'm talking about rising above, living at a higher level, you can no longer need karma. It's what we are moving towards, getting unstuck, living at our full potential as spiritual beings. Getting free. Karma is something humans choose to use/live in, we dont have to. Some people know what I mean. I have to disagree - I think there IS 'self in Peace on Earth'. That's where it all starts. The Universe is within you. Be Peace. All is reflecting. PS. Not saying I'm totally there yet!! IP: Logged |

26T \ I love this book. Have printed it out and it will probably become my bible too. Eckart Tolle also teaches us of "in the now" conscience evolvement which ties directly in line with this. I love him too. The universe it telling me its ok to reach for that higher conscienceness. Beleif in karma has served me well. it got me to this point and all indications show me i've gotten better so I am going to keep on going. Incidentally, when you reach higher and gain knowledge you find it less and less necessary to hurt others, to demean others , to be proud and competitive and so on. So once again it all kinda takes care of itself. IP: Logged |
