I'm just recovering after nearly two weeks of some strong respiratory ailment. At first, the doctor thought it was bronchitis, now he says its viral. I'd never felt that sick in my whole life, as I clashed in high fever I literally felt close to death.

The experience has shaken up my whole perspective of my soul and my life. I'm feeling very uncertain of my spirtual path. As a Sag, I've felt my whole life that there's a higher power, but the Catholic Church I was raised in didn't fill my vision of it. So, I've basically practiced my own eceltic ways some solitary christain prayer mixed with some old witchcraft. It always felt right, until now. I'm confused because I so feel the desire to feel this higher power in my life, and for the first time ever it appears to have deserted me.

Thanks you guys, your well wishes mean a lot to me. Its just been really odd how something such as illness can have you questioning everything. Thank you for the healing light, I am finally starting to recover. Despite how awful it felt to be so sick, I'm glad it happened because it made me realize I haven't been nurturing my soul too well. I believe Linda is right when she says we get physically sick because something is off balance in our spirit. For me, its been a confusing road after leaving organized religon. I guess I feel lost in a way, and I want to find the way back again. I'm starting to meditate more and open my heart in the hope of finding that connection to the great divine.
