There's a lot of talk about "sending someone love or healing light", but how do you do it in reality? I've heard that if someone's sensitive enough, they can feel it when you're thinking about them. Well, there's someone I've been very close to, but we're not in contact right now, in addition to our being in different states. We share Sun/Psyche and Psyche/Moon conjunctions between our charts, and were able to communicate wonderfully before, when we 'intuited'. We're both going through rough times now, and I'd really like to send him love. Heck, why just him, there are so many people I know, who could use some love and healing thoughts too. So, how do I do this? Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

I read about this in a book recently, where this guy had a coworker who was very unfriendly. He sent him good thoughts/vibes daily, and after a few weeks, was able to observe some change in this guy's behavior towards him! Isn't that the neatest? This is what inspired me to want to try this out. Anyone else have any stories or personal experience along those lines?

I often find myself sending Love and Healing Light to friends, family and people I hardly know, especially to the knowflakes here who may be going through a hard time.
It's one thing to say you're sending it to actually doing it, and I guess there really is no right or wrong way to do it.
My way has always come naturally, and nothing I've read out of a book or on the net has really influenced the way I do it.

I simply visualise healing light (to me it looks like etheral light with silver sparkles) flowing to the other person instantly into their solar plexus, (heart chakra), and at the same time I ask my Higher Angel to send Love to the other person's Higher Angel (Oversoul) to guide them on the path of healing.
I do this only for a few moments.

Since studying my Reiki course, I have learned to visualise long distance healing, using symbols and meditations, but that is a different process all together, but as I mentioned there is really no right or wrong way to do it, do whatever comes natural, and however you send your own Love and Light will be successful by pure intentions alone.

I do something similar to both SunChild and miss apples. I visualise the person / their presence and envision beautiful light - for love usually gold pinky-peach sparkly light. I then send it to them, envisioning it being lovingly wrapped around them, encircling, nutiring and protecting

If I have a rose quartz to hand, then I hold it in my hand a say out loud (or silently) that I'm sending love to that particular person and ask my angels for help and guidance in doing so.

I see rose quartz as the crystal version of gold - solidified love

That sounds like a lovely way of doing it - i didn't think of that, involving our Higher Angels. Typical me, i forget to call on my Spirit Guides often. Actually, you know what, i have in moments of real desperation. I did try that once or twice, though i've never persevered at it - i've tried to tell mine to tell the other person that they're loved, and to not be so blue. It sounds like a wonderful idea to involve our Angels in this, as any spiritual process. Thanks, i'll try it!!

Oooh, a heart-shaped rose quartz - now i really want one!! What a sweet way of sending your friend the love he needed, by wearing a crystal heart next to your heart! That blessing almost sounds like a neat spell, a la Charmed - do you do any others too?

I really liked that part about envisioning the light encircling the other person! Thank you so much for those links - i've always had a fascination for crystals, and this one sparked it further. I want so badly to go crystal shopping now!! Is there an online site in particular that's safe to purchase them from, or is it best done in person, going by the feel of the crystal?

You're funny! Seriously though, it sounds like it did work - it woke a sleeping man - wowie, that's some potency! That's so neat that you were able to see an instantaneous effect - you do gotta experiment more often & let us know what you find out!

So anyways, I think it worked. After they were done they made me put my hands on my heart and say this phrase aloud. As I put my hands on my heart I couldnt breath for a sec and started crying. Im supposed to say the phrase everynight before I go to bed and every morning when I wake up. I also had some wicked dreams last night.

I'm sure it's even more potent with physical touch - you can probably see the effects soon. I've seen that happen when someone likes you a lot, they touch you oftentimes (perhaps subconsciously), and over time, even if it weren't the case before, you have a change of . Or when you work with animals... they respond so well to the love vibes you send out to them, it's the sweetest thing in the world to see! Awww, now i wish i had a pet to love like that!

Wow, that is so wonderful that you did reiki, healing, & aromatherapy; i wish you lived near me, because i'd have loved to come to you. Did you have a cute little shop with crystals & chimes and all? I can just imagine you in an adorable place like that, filled with the lovely aromas of incense & candles...

That is a tremendous ability, to be able to heal others! I hope that someday, I too am able to help other people. When i was younger, i felt that calling, to be able to heal people, esp. using my hands. I guess i have to work on developing my intuition and abilities first...

wow... I was reading that website, and vijarden sounds very powerful indeed! Do they do it once or at fixed times of the day? I wonder if it's more potent when done at the same time every day, hmmm... I'm glad to hear you got to experience the wonderful power of healing.. it truly sounds amazing from what they say at that site!

That's so true - i forgot about the power of music, and how it can intensify the feelings. I guess it can lend so much more to the potency of such a task, sending someone love/healing vibes... that's a great idea!
