i want iamthat to talk about perfect numbers.

a perfect number is one whose factors add up to the number itself.. they say that god used a lot of perfect numbers to make the universe because He had to make it perfectly.

the factors of 6 are 1 , 2 and 3 (since these divide 6) .. and 1 + 2 + 3= 6 , so 6 is a perfect number.
next 28 is a perfect number because 1+2+4+7+14 = 28 .. and the moon takes i gess 28 number of says to revolve around the sun?

can you list more perfect numbers.. we can easily write a computer program to generate perfetc numbers by the way.

A mathematical analysis in detailed about perfect numbers is listed at: http://www-groups.dcs.st-and.ac.uk/~history/HistTopics/Perfect_numbers.html

Well the ancients were amazed because it was very hard to find the next number.
The problem is as exciting as finding the next prime number, but not exactly.

What's interesting is that a perfect number always ends in either 6 or 8. That is the most exciting thing I noticed.

6 represent Venus
and 8 Saturn

In some cultures Venus is considered evil (Malefic) along with Saturn. Venus is considered the teacher of the Evil world.

More later.

ive noticed before that they always seem to reduce to a 1(except for the first perfect number 6)

i have never checked the really large ones though, do they all reduce to a 1? or do 6's come back?
