Topic: House clearing.....negative energies

A while back I did a course on clearing energies from living spaces/land.......or to put it another way Ghostbusting.At the time we had recently moved into our home, it was built in the late 1800s and we were experiencing a bit of paranormal activity. As we have a 6 year old son, obviously I was eager to get this cleared. I could see that it was affecting his energy and sleep patterns. We were asked to go out and work on three or four houses to get some experience.......OMG.......one house we went into was very scary. I know the guy....and could see he was struggling big time with something hanging around him.....he had sort of lost his sparkle. When we entered the front room I felt as tho something had got me around the throat, like I was choking.....we later found out that a young girl had hanged herself there a long time ago. I subsequently worked on other houses but didnt experience such intense feelings thanks God!
We were taught that if a spirit is trapped between here and the other side....they can behave in a disruptive way and affect the people who are living in that house. That is why getting the house cleared is important....to allow the spirit to go where he/she needs to be and then allowing the people to be free......isnt this interesting? Anyway since we cleared ours.....our son has begun to sleep well, the lights have stopped switching themselves on and peace prevails. There was a lovely spirit here called Diarmuid...he lived here until the 1990s....am told he was happy for us to be here....he has gone now....happily...he just wanted to check us out LOL !!! Love

Sueg thats very interesting that you bring this topic up at this time, because I have been wanting to clean my house for alittle while now.(Smudge) We have seen many things in around our house in the last 6 1/2 years that we have lived here. The land has been in the family sense the early 1800's also and a old native burial grounds just in the back. The people that own the property have some really old stuff that was dug up through the years. We have seen shadow people, my son 15yrs old, husband, dogs, cats and me. Me and a girl friend heard Native American drums being played one evening. My son has seen the cord of his light on the wall in his bedroom fly out from wall and back many times. They have never done anything to really hurt us, but I went to a psychic that picked up on this and she really don't like the energy here.Sueg I know how to Smudge but would like to know how you cleaned your house and if you think that I should do anything else to and around the house!!! There was some other things that she told me about this house, but alittle private and would talk about it if I had your e-mail address if thats O.K by you. SolaneWe were taught a ritual whereby you go into a room, open up a portal to the left hand side of the room (the corner) and then ask the spirits to leave, pray that they will leave if the time is right,,,,,,then smudge....... and either clap around the room, or use a rattler/shaker to dispel any negative residue Do you know what tho.....I would get someone else in to help, that is what we did...."they" seemed to be more responsive to a couple of us, if you know what I mean. Feel free to ask Randall for my email.....although I must be honest....not good for replying....I can take a while and my last few havent reached people for some reason, but dont let that stop you....will look out for you girl!! LOve

I just ask them what they want. Then help them out. No more problems. No rituals or smudging. But then that is what works for me. Not the advice I give others.IP: Logged |

Yes I think I know what you mean by responsive, I seem to have done alot more work in the heart chakra area then my mate and son. She told me that they have a hold on ny husband and son, but haven't been able to reach me. Something was thumpping on the corner of my bed one morning, repeatly while blow drying my hair, it don't stop until I told it to back off and it left. It has not come back, but I checked all around me to see where this my be coming from and no animals or humans where around, I even tried to see if I was making this happen, but no and it has never happened again.Can I ask Fayte for your e-mail address so that I don't have to bug Randall??? I always clean/clear a new house when I move in. Then again at least once per year and more if I feel it's needed. Sometimes people bring negative energy into your home that needs to be cleared. I use sage or sweetgrass to smudge. I go into every corner, nook and cranny with the smoke blessing the house and it's inhabitants as I go leaving room for only positive energy to remain. When we moved into our house, there was a sacred heart light on the wall..youd find them in most Irish homes, very catholic, they are a red light, ususally with a pic of Jesus attached. The light stays on all the time!So my hubbie says....we will get rid of that thing....he, as well as I have no fondness for the catholic religion, or any other for that matter, but I say to him "oh no you cant do that you will be cursed". he gives me one of his looks and I say "give it 24 hours and you will hear that message again.....he give me another look....ooohh I love thos looks! Id had a little voice saying "leave it, leave it"......well I told him and he laughed at me. Sure he thinks shes off her head!! The next day in comes the electrician (German, non catholic guy, a friend). I am standing behind the door listening and hubbie says "can you take that light out" and mr german man says "oh no you cant do that, it is disrespectful etc etc". I felt hubbie turning white. Within a few months we had the paranormal stuff,,,,,it only came to him......wont tell now, too long,,,,but suffice to say guys listen to what apparently seem old wives tales, as I said before the faeries mean business, you do not tread on their tiny toes LOL !!! When I moved house, I used a sage smudgestick to cleanse the old energy but in my case the old energy was very tranquil and not causing problems. I use my pendulum once in a while to tune into the energy flow and it tells me which rooms need a cleansing boost. I'm not fully into fung shui but I try to keep clutter to a minimum and air the house every day to encourage the energy to move freely and prevent pooling. I burn a lot of incense - so much that hubby says the house smells like a hippy shop! Touch  IP: Logged |
