I do some work in a small health/new age shop, and the woman that runs it is very good to me, she passes my phone number onto people if she thinks I could help. Well I got this woman ring me and ask me if I was Sue and booked a time to see me.When I went into the shop a couple of days later, the owner said.......isnt your name Sue...and then she said a different surname to what mine is, I told her what my surname is.......OMG I then realised the name she called me is my ancestors name.......they were gypsies......how did she know that........freaky or what.... They say gypsies like to travel........well guys, I am having visions of being overseas with people I have never yet met....I feel the land is America and we are all dancing together.....laughing and having great craic. I was at a psychic talk years ago....the speaker pointed to me and said you have a connection with Ireland and America....I had been to the states before....but didnt know then I would return to Ireland to live ( I was living in Uk at the time).... A few months agao.......a romany gypsy told me I would be returning to America......she saw California????? Now could this possibly be a trip over to meet up with my newly discovered soul family.......just a thought.......a lovely one!! Love Sue xxx

Hi Svet,I agree, well just to say, I am glad I was told a few months ago where I came from......just by chance my man met a guy who was raised as a gypsy and his daughter said to him about me "that woman looks like a gypsy".....I was sitting at their table waiting for our son to finish a birthday party....so anyway, Mr Gypsy man goes to get a book listing gypsy family names.....and ours was there!!! A couple of weeks later he was showing me how to do gypsy dancing on his kitchen floor.....he was breathing quite heavy and holding my hand a little too tight.......LOL !!!! For years I felt like a gypsy, and when he told me everything just felt right................the family I came from were very err...... "tough"......up for a fight now and then......but very soft of heart too.....and all the women very psychic....tis funny my mam was the only one to sort of rebuke it I suppose, a bit of a puritan, religious and all!!! Well you talk about passion, girl, I have it in bucketloads, and fiery too, but learing to channel that into OTHER things ha ha.......but when I am crossed.....ooohhhh well, you know!!! I am now the proud owner of 7 gypsy shawls, I have the big hoop earrings too, and long hair and long skirts and the flashing eyes at times ha ha.........I always had that style, didnt know where it came from for a long time.....and now I do.....so I come from romany gypsies on one side and eccentric irish on the other.....jeez what a combination LOL !!! Is there any hope for me guys??? Love and passion to all Sue G xxx

Yes, CA stands for California. I live about 30 miles east of San Francisco. I think San Francisco may be a favorite amongst American cities that Irish people like. I was friends with a Dublin-born Irishman in the Navy. While we were in the Navy based locally to San Francisco, some of his best friends moved to San Francisco. I don't think it was pre-planned, it just worked out that way, so it was neat for him to have those people here for him. http://sanfrancisco.about.com/cs/barsandcafes/a/irishpubs_2.htm http://www.theirishbank.com/battle.asp IP: Logged |

Sorry AG,, I dont like NY state at all, but Callifornia is the last place in america I care to be in. too expensive, and in my view CA is the heart and soul of american pop culture. IP: Logged |

sueg Without ever meeting you one can see your passion pouring through in your posts, that's why I love reading them As for magic. Russia is full of nomadic gypsies. And once I was on the train with a tribe. Well, one gypsy took all the money I had on me by just looking in my eyes. I think it was some sort of hypnosis! And then she blessed me After all these years the stolen money don't matter but I cherish her blessing still.------------------ We are the ones we've been waiting for. IP: Logged |

It is expensive, and I guess with the music and movie industry it can be considered the heart and soul of american pop culture, but aside from being a tad cold and aloof (personality-wise) it's not a bad place. Self-expression is looked upon much more favorably than many places (film and animation arts, music, gay S.F., hippy Berkeley). I'm sure that if you considered the alternatives in America there are a lot of worse places you could be. It's not a matter of being offended, it's just that there are a ton of places that wouldn't produce people like you and me in this vast land of ours. Living in Tennessee for three years was like a prison sentence for me. Even the Navy was better than TN. I can imagine several places that would be worse than TN, though (like Idaho or Nebraska just to be general). Of course, Portland is my favorite. Portland is awesome. Arty, friendly, and much smaller for being a big city. IP: Logged |

I'm originally from the SF Bay Area, the Peninsula in Woodside, a native and now live in Portland...both of my parents were born in SF...it really is a beautiful city, of course if you just visit as a tourist, it can feel impersonal, but there is a lot of history. So much good food here especially. There is a lot of culture in the Bay Area and it can seem intimidating at first, like any large city. Once you get to know if, of course and find your favorite places, you will fall in love the the City, most everyone does. Not to mention the miles of beautiful coast north and south of SF...I love Portland now, too, I've been here now three years and is my adopted city.Try it...you might like it! kisses Laura IP: Logged |

AG- as always you have a great point,,, free'est of expresion in USA Cally certainly is as far as I know... Either way,,still not the state for me personaly. Then again,, as Ive discussed a while ago,,, no where in US is the most ideal land for me. I truly hear what you meen aout Tennesie as well.. There and Kentucky Ive visited a few times [freinds of fammly down there, when we arive its like being a celebrity for some wierd reason,, seems every last atractive girl in the county end up at my freinds house within 24 hours of getting htere],,,yeah, alllloooooootttt of fun I have had there,,, at the same time I have to be very carefull of my mouth when out in the towns and bars around there..Truly they live in a small world all there own. Surprised I never took offense to some of the stuff I witnessed down there... I sorta just go into a state of observation mode till I leave. IP: Logged |

I havent been in college for music in atleast 3 years, but when I ws atending classes it was the community college here in Dutchess county. I wana get my massage license before going back to college. Need a part time job that can acutaly pay the bills before I can try to pull off even part time school again. Im about just over an hours drive up the taconic state parkway from NYC, east side of the Hudson River. NY accent ?,,,, well , especialy in NY state, there are all sorts of different accents. Ive had Canadians tell me I have one. Not sure wich accent they are thiking of though. Hahaha,, not sure ,,I think many american guys are very shy as well on a whole. The more off hte boat Irish guy's Ive meet are some of the all around bravest peaple Ive known actualy.... Perhaps your Scorpio energy, mixed with oyur gorgous look just catches them off gaurd at first site of you ? Dont know about other guys,, but if I run into a preety freckled,or oh my red haired as well lady, and I feel a Scorp energy radiating ,, Im taken aback and a little overwhelmed at first,,, Im preety sure I do a good job at hiding my shyness,, but trust me ,,, its still there under my skin till I get into a comfortable first conversation. Useualy my eccentricity's and shock tactics go over very well with your sort . IP: Logged |
