You sound very.......deep.......

I have strong Neptune in my chart (it conjuncts my Sun in Scorpio in 8th house).......and I feel that merging with things that you talk of......sometimes it can be with music and people. So what happens is the boundary between reality and imagination gets very errrr.....blurred? I am also intuitive like you, but that wouldnt scare me at all, I consider it to be an asset!!

During most of my youth I felt I was living in the "twilight zone". Thank God I didnt do too many drugs....if I had done so I reckon I would have been totally off my head now LOL!!!

Maybe it would be a good idea for you to do some grounding exercises - I do them every day!!!

When I was at school aged 15 or so one of my classmates said "Sue you always look doped out of ya head" - ha ha little did I know my Neptune was showing so strong!!

Dont worry about this, just be aware and keep your feet on the ground......and keep away from those Scorpio women they can be far toooooo interesting LOL !!!

I am wondering... Is it the consuming feeling that causes you anxiety, astrology in general, or Love Signs specifically?

And... by anxiety, you mean fearful feelings?

I do know from experience that facing any situation that causes you anxiety is the only way to over-come the anxiety.

You are a very deep fella, very knowing for your age. I would not be surprised at all if the mysteries of the world saw fit to show themselves to you.

That being said... I don't know about inanimate objects having souls... BUT... they are energy; matter... same as us. I have found in many books that opening up to any random passage will often produce text that is suiting to my present station in life. Mostly Gooberz... but that is probably because I mostly go to Gooberz intending to open to some random passage.

Written word, I have read, is the most powerful. For instance, Affirmations. Thinking Affirmations has some power, but not as much as speaking them. Speaking Affirmations is powerful, but not as powerful as written Affirmations.

This is also something I've learned through therapy. My shrink had me write a lot for a while because the power of written word is stronger than that of the spoken word. (Or maybe it was because my Gemini Asc. never shuts the hell up! Could go either way.)

So... while Linda Goodman was writing her books, she was literally pouring herself into them. Maybe the entity you you sense is the energy of Linda Goodman? Like I said, I wouldn't be surprised by those Mysteries bein' all, "Yoo Hoo, Randall... Check us out! Aren't we mysterious?"

I don't know if any of that is helpful to you. I hope so...

Thank you all for your replies. I haven't been here in a while, I felt a slightly bit apprehensive about writing, but it's just like looking at some water, you always think twice about how cold it is before you dive into a lake, or an ocean for that matter. "The water’s just fine"

LibraSparkle, by anxiety, I mean, it’s rather an overwhelming feeling. I open up my book… Strange to me about Linda Goodman, it’s soooo true that it scares me. When this truth seeps into my mind, it causes me to see in… Characterizations. I think in Scorpio or Gemini or Pisces or Virgo, to name a few of the signs currently in my life. But instead, I feel like I should be open minded and not see in these shades of 12 different colors. I know that what she has to say is valid, but to me, again, something seems particularly consuming but this.

By Entities, I mean, possibly spirits.

Also, something else I’d like to share. To me this was the most satisfying experience.

…Just before we had parted, I looked into Brooke’s eyes (the Scorp), I held out my arms for an embrace. I didn’t want to let go, I felt something, it was an exchange of energy. I did the usual, hey you’re a cool girl (I meant it) and walked away. My Heart Chakra just started going off! It’s not like I’d fallen’ back in love with my ex, I’m keeping myself emotionally in check (I’m getting better with my Virgo asc., but my Aries moon doesn’t always help) The exchange, although I know little about weather it was bad or good (she had been Quite emotionally draining on me that day), but Was Beautiful. Never had I felt anything like it. It was one of those moments that seems so short while you’re living it but lasts forever n your head.

What kind of energy exchange does anyone think this was (specifically)? How can I develop these things?

First of all, it sounds to me like you're in love with this girl... and what a lucky girl she is!

What you said about the energy exchange reminded me a lot of a situation that happened in the book The Celestine Prophecy, by James Redfield. There is a lot in the book about various energy exchanges (eg exchanges with people, with plants, with Earth). A lot of his writing seems to be modeled after Richard Bach's books. Parable style metahpysics... good stuff.

I have to run my kids to school here in a minute, but when I get back I'll dust off my copy of The Celestine Prophecy, and look up the part you reminded me of. If memory serves correctly, there is a whole chapter dedicated to the subject... perhaps I will be able to paraphrase.

She's the one who lent me that book. I read it from her.

(sigh) I will tell you my dilemma with her. She's my ex-she and is emotionally unavailable, or so she has portrayed in the past, and even last night... We broke up because she stopped responding to me. I got over involved, as the emotional junkie Pisces that I am.

Last night, I had invited her to dinner at one of my good friend’s house. This was no ordinary dinner... This man Brighton, or Chen, meaning Bright Morning Sun in Chinese, is an exquisite man. He is a renaissance man with a vast knowledge of the world (for a human at least). And it’s no wonder, he has traveled the world and acquired many skills. His house is decorated in Japanese fine arts and they served me sushi last night. She couldn’t make it because she had homework and needed to be home and stuff (I use the word stuff loosely). This is typically what happened with her. Yes, I had a wonderful time with her, heard her thoughts, felt her heart, now, made a connection with you and The Celestine Prophecy, it’s all so eerie and unusual and beautiful, but she, according to past, just does not show much promise. I wish I could say other wise. She’s beautiful, an artist, a kind soul, a soul with a lot of potential, but she remands a scorpion bordering on gray lizard. LibraSparkle, thank you for sticking with me on this. I value your insight. LibraSparkle, you have set a good example. Also, thank you all who have replied to this post.
