When living in UK, at the house down the cobbled path which fronted onto a canal, I had a very interesting experience........I had taken a huge leap of faith by jacking in my steady job at a building society as a legal secretary (yeah me a legal secretary......cant imagine that now). My man and me had a hefty mortage and the usual financial outgoings, but I had enrolled on a massage and aromatherapy diploma course at a local college....I felt driven to take this path,,,, Anyway on the first day of "freedom", I felt a bit weird.....I had worked in an office environment for over 20 years and although always having loathed it.....Id not had the balls to leave.......but I was being pushed....pushed....pushed...... Feeling restless I walked down the cobble path and on to the banks of the canal, with a bag of bread in my hands.....I loved to feed the swans and ducks which lived there.... So there I was. it being a misty day only added to my feeling of uncertainty....its like I was waiting for a "sign".... Just then something caught my eye...it was an old man approaching me.....and as he walked behind me he said in a bearly audible voice "cast thine bread on the water and it wil be returned to you a thousand fold"......... I felt startled and experienced a feeling of being lifted off the ground for a second or two.....it was surreal.. When I looked to my left, I couldnt see him.....the prophet...he had gone.... To this day I dont know whether he was real...but I do know for sure friends.....I never looked back from that day forwards..... I hope you find your signs....I hope this memory will help you to move forward when you feel stuck. Love to all Sue xxxx xxx

In late September of 1968 I was fishing alone in a VERY secluded hard to walk into place. As I sat there it was so quiet. A lovely late Autumn afternoon. Suddenly I catch a movement out of the corner of my eye! He made not a sound on the leaves! But there he was! This handsome older man(I was almost 14)! He was wearing a caftan and begain talking to me like a chant or tranced reading. Smiling in a far away look he kept talking. What he said was amazing but I do not want to share that. Sorry. But he said someday we will stand in love together in the waters of a great lake. Then I asked him how he came up to me so quietly and he said.."I think you will find that I am good at doing that!". I turned to my pack and was going to offer him some nibbles and a pop....but when I turned back he was not there!Years later in Autumn of 1997....I met my now husband. He is a younger version of that man! I mean every detail! Voice...walk..stature...ears.. eyes..mouth..nose..even the long hair and mustache and beard! My husband and I were married wearing caftans as we stood in the waters of the lake. Lake Erie..one of the Great Lakes...just like the older man said! Funny thing is...that at the time I saw that man in 1968 was about the time my husband was conceived in his mother! I have had other such strange encounters like seeing my son before he was conceived too. PS.and my husband can "sneak" up on me without making a sound or setting off my psi! Just like that man! beautiful stories!A few months back I was going through a dark night. Was torn about what to do with my marriage...thinking of my children and wanted the best for them. Suddenly I felt embraced with a warm feeling of comfort...felt the presence of a friend of mine who had recently died, then heard his voice say, "it will be ok." I cried harder and through my tears said out to him, "Will it?" ..then I heard just the words "I Ching". So, I did a hexagram and it was RETURNING, absolutely confirmed that I was entering a new cycle of life, but that everything would be ok if I flowed with it and followed my heart. Amazing how things like that happen at just the right time. IP: Logged |
