Jim Morrison Doors lead singer died at age 27 like Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix and Kurt Cobain. Why the number 27?.One out of four of them I say that Jim Morrison is alive in seclusion.I know,go ahead and laugh my husband doesn't think so.Jim said during one of his concerts that "Astrology is bull&*#!.I know Sags stick their foot in their mouth but do they curse too?.I thought Scorpios were in first place when it comes to profanity.

Scorps may like profanity, but everything I've ever read about Morrison that wasn't just gushy fan worship, evidences that he was a self-centered, manipulative, immature jerk. So infantile use of profanity would seem right up his alley. Why are you so obsessed with him? Don't you know how horribly he treated Janis Joplin? Or Nico? And god knows how many other women for his own cruel amusement and selfish pleasure? Plus, he may have had some intelligence, but he had no motivation to exercise it or develop it, since he was so good at using people and getting his way with his charisma. Being a charmistic rockstar and a "poet" (HUGELY liberal and unflattering use of that term) doesn't excuse him from be an a-hole who needed his jaw broken.

And he's definitely dead. Pity that - I'm as sick of this nonsense as the surviving Doors must be. If he was still alive, I'm sure he 1) won't have stayed in seclusion this long, cos he LOVED being in the spotlight and 2) being a Sag-Aries moron, have surely proven to most of his fans by now what a massive jerk he is and he would have faded into the "Where are they now?" file with all the other aging rockers.

Really, get over the 60's rock psuedomythology and find someone who's actually worth your admiration.

Worthiness is completely subjective. I think 27 for a few reasons. The 9 is powerful and denotes the end, while 27 is success. Also, no one I know of died at 28 of any other year, so I think it's a bandwagon thing. 28 is also more an "adult" which I'm sure most rockers never want to be labelled. 27 is still very young, so they move on as healthy young people (if you ignore the longterm effects of their drug usage). They are remembered as such and like Kurt said "It's better to burn out than to fade away". Well Kurt, I'm sure Francis would've liked it if you chose life than either.

Dean.

Incidentally, I'm currently 27 and feel like I've barely understood life, so maybe they also want to leave before they really obtain understanding - like they love living in the dream they've created.

Heaps of Love.

Sesame,
What sign are you?.Cool! were both 27.I feel different now then I was in my early 20's.Not to say that I am perfect, but when I was in my early 20's I was very narrow- minded.A friend of mine who's in his early 30's told me that all of us go through that phase. At 27,I feel the need to expand my awareness.I'm becoming less judgmental than before.

Yup, 27 here also

I kinda like the vibration no.27 brings in the mix with all the stuff life has for us. I'm gearing up for the saturn seven cycle - if that's the right way you say it? Every 7 years I believe it is. I've begun to realise the value of the particular lessons I've encountered in my life.

Anyways, I really do have to get back to work now!

Hiya Peace, and Lovely Sheaa,

I'm a gemini sun. I'm more at a point of acceptance right now. That everything is as it is. I feel I'm becoming more grumbly but just because I can. Yes, the big 28 is the next Saturn change hey? Well, I'm praying on a new moon for more inclination into music and art in general. I think too much. Famous last geminian words hey?

Dean.

My my my

I see what you mean Peace......very angry......very judgemental and not very nice at all is it calling someone a Sag/Aries moron....

Or indeed the remainder of the contents of that post....

In my opinion as an artist (didnt know him personally and wouldnt believe half what I read, unless of course I was a moron myself LOL), he was HOT HOT HOT..........he had something very special and was a very talented and sexy dude He will be remembered forever. I cant help noticing too that his followers appear somewhat cool themselves.....

Love to all

I've wondered about the year 27 as well, and reading this, it just occurred to me that it may have something to do with the progressive Moon completing full circle approximately at the age of 27. Your progressive Moon comes to its natal position and you experience the same emotions you did at your birth (which is at the same time death in another dimension). And maybe if your natal Moon is not very well placed, you experience the same difficult-to-handle emotions, and you may not be able to handle them, so... I know I died in a way in my 27th year, leaving my old life completely behind and starting a new one, a new Moon cycle. Just my 2 cents
