i dont know why i need to post this. it doesnt even bother me. i grew up being forced to go to church my parent christian. today i have my own beliefs when i was younger i always used to ques. the bible etc. i believe in god, but he isnt god to me. i dont believe in heaven or hell. to my parents destress. no offense to any christians here, but i see christian ppl, and i know thousands as humans that need acceptance ok we all do, but they seem to have a thing for suffering. in that which most believe that if something goes wrong in their lives it's god punishing them. i dont know, but i feel that religion or whatever shouldnt necessarily be right because its been along longest. i see it as the most recent beliefs makes more sense to me. Not that it matters. Im surrounded by ppl that are all overly christian it seems so fake. even though they are pretty real, but they always want or try to prove non christian wrong lol. anyways i just had to let this out. i dont have a problem with religion, but i feel that some ppl over do it. which is ok as long as its not me. im just wondering how much has astrology, and the time ppl are born in to do with religion. personally im more attracted to new age, budduism, astrology, spirituality, i strongly believe in reincarnation. my opinion is why would there be many different ppl from different backgrounds having those beliefs if it is insane or whatever ppl call it i really dont think there is just one right religion. Why cant ppl be more accepting its insane. anyways my love to all that reads this.

Spoken like a true Gemini! We sure like to clean the cob webs hey? Yes, the thing about suffering is not only to picture damnation in burning hell, but to always be reminded of Jesus as being tortured to death on the cross. That doesn't teach me of Jesus's love, but more of humanity's evil. Can you imagine of Jesus was here now? Would we instantly worship him or condemn him again? This statement is particularly gemiian: "the most recent beliefs makes more sense to me". Of course, all beliefs need to be scrutinised. There's no time remember? The latest cycle isn't necessarilly new, just the latest. I hear you about the christian thing. A guy at work seems to have many friends that he's met through christianity, but I just think that's stupid. I mean, I don't mind christians, I am one myself to a certain degree (kind of a buddhist, taoist, christian - Deanoist to be precise). But what I mean is, I wonder what he'd be like if he didn't depend on Chrisitanity for his friends?

All clubs are great meeting places for people, but christians are pretty much the nicest, but then when you try to debate astrology with them, they just don't want to listen. How can you be true friends with people you can't communicate openly with? As for how do they synthesise? Well, I think all is God, and each belief is a different angle (angel) of God.

Did you mean to type this in " Thos will religious ubringing.... "?

My Love back atcha!

Dean.

What I know to be true now, Is God is within us
no need of church or ceremony
communing within your own Temple, that God gave you,
to seek and find Truth
that God is and has always been, and that God loves us very much, and when you finally SEE this, it is sweet scared bliss
no worries anymore, you are in God's hands and are being led, to find the Truth of YOU
We sow what we reap, from each life to life, good or bad, we will have to account for our actions, and that is only natural
Return hate with love, return ridicule, with a good joke, reverse the poles, you can do this, if I can, you can, we all can

Love and Light to ALL

Did you happen to Freudian slip the term "scared bliss"? Sounds like Catholicism to me No disrespect intended to anyone, but that seems to sum up this thread in two words...

I mean, why must we fear God? He created us and gave everything! It's certain people we should fear. I don't want to say all, because really, there's a select few that I think propogate through humanity to create problems etc.

With Love,
Dean.

iAmThat, I want to create a shirt that reads "Perfection is an Ancient Greek Myth".

Dean.

Ps. Just in case you ask, this is because they sought it and failed miserably. It doesn't exist IMO. The only thing perfect is God, so you could also say "Perfection is an Ancient Greek God". Everything else is decidedly less than perfect. Why do you fear that anyhow?

I agree with everyone here on this topic. Expecially about the punishment thing. What good comes to mankind that way? No need for that. Also I wanted to add, my last job was working with a guy who was heavily christian and very active in his church. He was very nice but I had a hard time working within his energy field. Lots of guilt and suppressed emotions. I found myself feeling anger and resentment of him after a while and he did nothing to me.Im happily out now

I really felt what you said girl......do you know what I often find with "christians" or religious ones,,,,,,they dont often seem happy with life do they or with their faith? You hit the nail on the head girl, it can be down to guilt and repression......oh dear !!!

You cannot beat a free spirit can ye.........one who can be happy in their faith......happy to love themselves and others.....nothing to do with religion is it ???

love to all

Dean,
"The only thing perfect is God"
Exactly what I had in mind. And since I am imperfect, I would fear when I am in His presence.
