The Title of this thread is one i`ve taken from one of my brooks,(,ie, The Uknighted*Kingdom*Queendom*Igknighted:copyright:N.A.Simpson2oo5)

And is `loosely` based on (as i call it) the Lightside of Our Knight*Beeing of what it will entail2bee and stay a `Knight` in the 21st Century&Beeyond.

Bob Gandolf!?...D`oh!...Geldolf...is 4me an Archetypal&prime example of the kinda Knight*Beeing i`m talkin about...

This is about Now da PRESENT/SERPENT Energy Matrix...
(present is a lexi of serpent,i`ll explain `why` another time)
...&the `struggle` with this Serpent/Present. Nuff sAID there mefeels.

My lifes `Innitiation` inn2 theze matters is that `Knight`s` are equally female as they are male...Joan of Arc is an obvious example.

So just 2Enlighten my point i`m gonna take a Grail Degree, ie, da 11th Degree Of Aqua this position is very potent...&re-hearts&re-minds me of Linda Goodman Own Energy...&2anyone with half-decent Knight*Vision they may realise that this fits her ways&energie`s like a gauntlet.: )

Interpretation
People with this degree on the Ascendent show very special character traits.The essence of it is that they show these for themselves in the first place.
The`armoured` knight on horseback` is an archetype.There is something very Aquarian in the fact that they suddenly come forward to defend themselves.

These people are well armoured for their human task,which they see as a call to fight.They have the talent and quality to do this very well. They put their will in it, and thus are completely centered in themselves(which is not self-centredness in the egotistical sense).They know themselves as being a source of energy and force, and a point of action and self-control-in short,of all which this archetype contains.It is the entire psychology of what this image calls forth in dreams, books, film and all the `fantasies` woven around the land of Lyonesse, the epitome of a cultural ideal.It stands for alertness, prudence, zeal, purity, courage and independence. On, the physical level these people may well excel in horse-riding and be good at any competitive sport.They may be well trained soldiers, or policemen, or teachers of others.Both men and women will do well in any sort of career where polarities have to be dealt with. They work with self-assertion,mental aggressiveness, and a native combativeness in the furtherance of their own interest.
On a high level they defend others, though preferably not within a restricted field of action, such as a lawyer`s office(Cap. hind-axis). The resistance they have to meet are often those presented by old-fashioned mentalities and outmoded customs, which have become `bad` for the New Age. They can fight these with great passion.

They are proud and high-minded,and only to oppose equals for something which is of human value.But again,they do this not so much with any sense of mission, as to demonstrate their own ability.
This degree embodies in the first place an attitude to battle,and a kind of chivalry, that has been lost to Western culture.We have lost the instinct for honourable combat in the cause of truth(Aq.).

The medieval idea of tournament was combat for combats sake, without ulterior aim. It was the means to measure relative strength. Think of the mounted police. They show strength by calmly riding along TWO by TWO.They hold the curiosity(Ge.) of the unorganised crowds in balance(Li.) with their superior Team Spirit
(Aq.).This image contains the three air signs in a harmonious way.

This image also demonstrates how the complementary sign Leo is needed, and in fact the entire fixed cross.For their superior team spirit, led by higher forces(Aq.), each person needs to be completely centered(Le.), and be firmly grounded on the earth(Tau.), in order to subdue all the destructive lower passions(Sc.).

A tournament is an example and summery of right behaviour: all should act with magnanimity in victory and dignity in defeat. To live that rule of life is the true demonstration of Knighthood.

Interpretation
This is also an archetype and an even `deeper` symbol than the former one. The creative energy
and power of, and in, a human being is completely suspended, and awaiting contact with his(or her) inner worlds. Here it is beginning to find crystalline form(Cap. behind Aq.).It is a situation of Being, and not doing, which is the repose the knight has to learn. Only in this stillness can he/she bring to outer form the power of the Holy Spirit, which he/she has received.

This second image contains the essential meaning of the first one.It shows that the way is now open for the outward flow of Spirit: horizontal energy, as displayed in relationships of rivalry, has given place to vertical action. There is only the lower self to be subdued and transformed into a good grail-cup and chalice(Saturn, lower ruler of Aq.), for the lucid current of inspiration to flow freely. Here is rapid spiritual growth to attract the pure waters of silent inspiration(Aq. For-axis Vi.- Pi.).

We must add that now, at the threshold of the era of the Holy Spirit, where all that is wrong--however well-intentioned--must fall and break, the problem of the real polarity of couples becomes crucially important. Tow beings, man and women, who are supposed to be polar, cannot be absolutely certain of their polarity until later on, when they have reached the level of man 4, on the thresold of level 5. This is because, although polar in essence, each of them brings with them a past that covers their real 'I' with a dissimilar crust. Those who are polar in essence must take this fact into account. It is only when they gradually shed this crust that the qualities of their essence will progressively shine through, bringing at each discovery an abundance of ineffable joy. Thus their love will always grow, they will love each other more each day, today more than yesterday but much less than tomorrow. It is the path of Triumph.
In this true Romance, the attitude of the Lady contributes much if not all to the victory of the Knight. Her refined and artistic intuition will understand the meaning of love: that is, to love with all the fibres of one's being, up to integral identification, in a glorious dash towards the same goal.
It is not sufficient for her to wait and see and, during this time, just allow herself to be loved. This observation is important.

HMMmmm, Well, Well, aside from tha contribution of tha quote, by LotusH1...

...tha others who have posted, seem 2have only contributed patronising remarks,that insinuate that i speak "gobble-de-kook", i find this amusing&simultanously sad 4those souls, but then that is their free-will write of speech...but,considering tha goals&energy of this site...i will add this, if any of you have empathy with tha above quote in only half tha Way that Linda Goodman herself did, then you may understand this.
