<<in star signs LG talks about rising above
the boundaries of your birthchart. i've
meant to post something about this, about
how does one actually go about doing that...

it seems that you've touched on that with
this statement ~

---------------------------------------------
The planetary aspects show you what you have to work out. If you do, you break their hold on you and can laugh away the Sade Sati/Saturn 7.
Saturn becomes your friend once you start mental yoga and true chart interpretation.
--------------------------------------------->>

Hi Hedgewitch,
I am very much an amateur in this. I read the above statement from an Indian yogi, an Aghori, one of the most difficult paths. From his works, I got some clues. Like thoroughly knowing your self from your chart and accepting responsibility as a karmic lesson without the slightest mental regret.
Sort of like taking the blow on the chin and getting up calmly with "Thank you for the lesson. I learned enough and do not need such a lesson again" attitude.

To prevent further karmas, we have to have emotional detachment from actions and allow our Higher Self to guide the actions, sending any positive/negative reactions directly to the involved Higher Self than reacting emotionally. There is a lot about emotion in the esoteric. Non judgemntalism, detached compassion, using emotions only for unconditional love or reality creation etc. I have not been able to put this together perfectly yet but am trying hard.

I got some clues from "The Stellar Man" by John Baines and ofcourse from my favorite book "Decoding your Life" by Janet Swerdlow. I read Linda's chapter on that in Star Signs too and the synchronicity of Linda Goodman with Janet Swerdlow is remarkable. It confirmed what I felt all along, Spirituality/religion should have been left only to the women.

Anyway, what I will do is ramble about karma/Higher Self/breaking planetary shackles etc etc etc in this thread and you can try to make sense of it.

Maybe next week. For now, I am into lexigramming to activate my mind a bit more.
So if you dont mind, I would like to lexigram your name [unless you are a covert CIA operative who needs this to be secret ]

Hi Seema,
I will Lexigram your name in the Lexigram Magic forum.
SIN, LUST in a name, probably a stronger libido than average, maybe too strong resulting in the sin of infidelity? It also depends on the other things like Natal aspects and name/birth numerological vibrations.

How do we break the stranglehold of the planets? In "The Stellar Man", John Baines speaks of "Los Senores", the Gods of the Zodiac who make sure that the Law of Karma is enforced on
a) Those who believe in it strongly and resign themselves to it.
b) Those who are Atheists or followers of a semitic faith like Islam, Christianity/Judaism and call all things with Karma as hindu/buddhist pagan mumbo jumbo.

The planets show the karmic issues to be worked out. The Lords of Karma, chief being Saturn, "beam the energy" every transit to induce the issue to be worked out. If the human behaves predictably according to the beamed energy, he fulfills that karma but he can end up creating a new karma that neccesiates another incarnation in a better or worse situation depending on how the karma was handled.

The ideal situation is to work out the karma without creating new karma and yet generating enough positive enrgy to cause evolution in the current incarnation itself.

There are many ways possible for this.
As per Baines, the human must realize the hidden laws, like the 7 keys of the Kybalion from Thoth, chief being "All is Mind, the Universe is Mental".

Note realize, not learn theoretical.

What is the evidence of realization that all is Mind and the Universe is mental?

There are many levels here. According to a great Aghora Yogi Vimalananda [Aghora 1,2,3 by RObert E Svoboda], the ultimate Yogi performs an instant super evolution stunt that burns out all karmas in one shot AND evolves the yogi to a super spiritual immortal. The deadly Khanda Manda Yoga in which the guru of the yogi takes a burning knife and cuts into the disciple's spine, painfully stimulating kundalini. The disciple knows about the physical illusion so much that there is no concern at torture or amputation. The disciple has to perfectly identify self with Higher Self or a Deity for the success of this strange and torturous yoga.

Vimalananda adds that there are less drastic steps too. Mental "Khanda Manda Yoga". Can we minimize emotions of sadness on death, kowing that all is illusion? Can we stop regretting our bad luck, convinced that it was a lesson in an illusion to work out Karma, which too can only be an illusion once we realize that all is mind? At this point when detached observation and non judgementalism is possible at every incident at our life or loved one's life, the chains of planetary/karmic holds weaken and ultimately can break for good if JAnet Swerdlows reasearch in "Decoding your Life" is accurate. JAnet teaches a direct conscious awareness of the HIgher Self, [she calls OverSoul]

Her method is to "release" all "karmas" and the illusion of karmas from the Aura, from previous lives [simultaneous lives actually because there is no past/present/future in Reality, another Thoth teaching], from genes, from genes of forefathers etc till all issues to be worked out are mentally worked out in dreams or repelled by mental good works. UNiverse is Mental. Your PLanets may say that you have been selfish. [Aries in South Node aspects] Practice one act of self lessnes and releasing that to Oversoul PLUS practising 100s of mental acts of selflessness, like sending unconditional energy with EMOTIONS to heal all the children in a cancer hospital with full concentration, as if you can really do this, and rejoicing at their healing as if it happened, these mental acts can burn karma in tons. However, realizations must occur in parallel. Pride at karma burning is a glue that furiously allows Planets to get rvenege if they spot weakness, says JOhn BAines.

JAnet teaches releasing even negtivities like Pride to Oversoul using color methods. Yoga and breathing can be sued to cut negatives and indepth poring over natal charts to steadily work out every teeny tiney karmic aspect mentally might eventually eliminate us from the planetary yoke.

But we still exist and though once freed we can create our destiny through affirmative reality creations and actions without negatives against others, we may create karmas in this process. Thus, no laziness in release work, humiliy and gratitude to our OverSelf, God/Goddess/Godmind AND the planets for letting us go will go a long way in securing the evolutionary membership in this body itself or in the next incarnation on another Plane of existence [which too is simultaneous in actuality once it occurs.]

dear Iqhunk ~

this is a good link. i saw the
film 'groundhog day' at the
suggestion of a boyfriend of
mine, quite a while ago. at the
time, i think because of some
serious karma happening in my life,
i took for granted his wisdom, his
kindness and his beauty. he was my
mentor, he sent me on my path of
spirituality.

i lost him out of my own carelessness,
but love is never lost, really.
he's always in my heart, and made his
mark on my soul. how i wish i could
know him today. thank you for reminding
me of one who can be so kind and full
of love. today i know that this is
the finest, most rare of privileges, to
have known and loved one such as he.

anyway, one perspective on karma, that
i always try to remember, likens it
to the fit of a shoe. pain happens each
time we wear a shoe that's too tight,
at every attempt to walk.
all we have to do really, is loosen the
shoe's fit, or wear a different one
altogether. the goal is to realize this.

once we stop wearing the tight shoe, we
have learned, and are no longer subject
to the pain that the tight fit caused.

in this sense, painful karma doesn't
have to happen, if only we'd adjust
our behavior accordingly. then the karma
wouldn't at all be necessary.

simple, i know, but the best working
definintion of karma i have presently.

at least until i read this fascinating book
you've linked here.
(and thank you 2, 26taurus )

love to all, salome

Hi Salome,
Thanks for your kind words AND a very nice definition of Karma!

BTW, why do you say you lost your love? If he is evolved enough, I am sure he will always accept you, or atleast stay in contact. Once a mentor, always a mentor. That is also a very sacred relationship.

PS. 26Taurus has some amazing resources and references

you're right...i didn't lose my love,
cuz love is never lost, really.

however,we're no longer in contact...
i moved away, then he moved away
from where we had lived.

i have no idea where he is anymore,
nor he i, most probably.

i'm sure we'll meet up again one day though.
