You are pretty particular.. so in the spirit of mischeviousness, I shall only speculate.

Our answers are certain to only ourselves.

The Lion/Lamb is a symbolic analogy.
It suggests that by understanding the goods and bads and potentials of ourselves and our neighbours, we can truly live in harmony.
She probably changed the lamb to ram because it was hers....

Others will have answers that are more encompassinhg than mine.
I hope they meet to spec.

Could also have something to do with the Book of Revelation in the Bible. Lots of Lamb/Lion symbology there. and Linda was certainly a good revealer of ancient knowledge.

The last great love of her life, Robert Brewer was a Leo, hence the lion. And, of course she the ram.
Sam Goodman, her second husband was a Taurus.
Her first husband, Carousel Bill was a Gemini.

It did have Bible significance and personal significance, as the others have said.
It also related to the Isis/Osiris, Jesus/Mary, etc. theory that Linda related. Isis would always reincarnate as an Aries or Aries Ascendant and Osiris as a Leo or Leo Ascendant.
When the Lion lays down with the Lamb is rather like the end of the separate incarnations for them, when they make Peace and are once again whole. In one of her books (I think Love Signs but don't quote me) she explains the Ram/lamb thing. A Ram is like the 'unevolved' Aries, always butting heads and being tempermental. Eventually, through growth and wisdom, etc. a Ram will become a Lamb, representing the higher side of Aries. The whole unless-ye-become-as-little-children thing kind of relates here.
The Lion and the Lamb also is represented inside a triangle. The holy trinity, the triple Goddess and God, mind/soul/spirit versus mind/soul/body, Mother, Father, Child, etc.
The idea is that once Isis and Osiris have worked out all their issues, karmic and otherwise, they will join together once again, each remaining a perfectly balanced half of a united whole. This is when all the rest of us are supposed to have finally reunite with our Higher S-elves and returned to our original S-elves. The Isis/Osiris story is supposed to cover our entire evolution in a way. They are like the 'gods' or perhaps the demi-gods of our planet. Their fate is entwined with ours. For the original transgressions between Set and Osiris they are responsible (in part or in whole I couldn't say) for all that's come to be on our Earth. They are charged with leading us back down the correct path towards reunion with our S-elves and thus with God/dess, etc.
So, in a way, I guess it reprsents the so-called happy ending of the reincarnation cycle on this little planet of ours and its return to its original Eden-heaven glory and our return to our original heavenly birthrights ... the eventual triumph of the 6 over the 9, etc.

I hope that made sense as I am quite distracted and typing one-handed while trying to comfort my fussy little bebe.
Be Blessed.
