I friend of mine just introduced me to this book today. Has anyone read it? Also I was trying to recall a book written in the late 1800's that dealt with manifestation and light beings. I think it starts with an "O" and is five or six letters long. Does anyone know what I'm refering to?IP: Logged |

Yes Kat, I know what you are referring to.
The first is Urantia book, "channeled" by some Quaker folk. The second is OAHSPE, channeled through a dentis or doctor. Both are highly suspect literature with 25-35% truth mixed up with lots of falsehood to lead people astray from discovering their Higher Self and Inner Power. I suspect some Extra Terrestrial involvement in this mischief too. Treat any literature that wants you to think of an intermediate external power higher than your Higher Self with deep suspicion.

I started reading the book, URANTIA (I spelled it wrong) last night and I've decided to put it down. Frankly, I'm getting tired of so called spiritual books that have some sort of historic revelation that uncovers the start of the universe or how the other dimension is organized etc. some parts of the book were just plan wrong especially about the human "races" Your right truth is mixed in with alot of fiction.OAHSPE that's it. I was inspired yesterday after reading this book to write in a notebook what I feel is truth. I was amazing that I came up with 11 Truths. Maybe there are more or even less but it really helped me define what I believe and what I've found works. I'll post it here sometime in the future and maybe you'll agree or not. Hopefully it will create some good conversations. Anyway, Have you noticed that most of these spiritual texts seem to come channeled through shrinks, doctors, etc? OAHSPE seemed pretty out there with the concept of spacebeings. Any Scientology links to this book?? Has anyone else noticed that alot of spiritual "paths" are just plan "time stealers" or distractions? what's with that?
Are some people so dedicated to finding out scientific truth and rationalizing that they don't look into the human heart? (Why yes to answer myself - I do it all the time) What the way out of this rationalizing? IP: Logged |

Congratulations Kat...Yes! You have spoken truly. There are many things thrown at us as we travel along the Path in order to distract us... it's almost like a test that we threw into the contract when we decided to hop onto the Earth plane for another go-round. These things are sidelights, are not inherently evil, but I think we use them to test our conviction along our own Path. You have chosen wisely! In LVX... A  ------------------

Aselzion has written the truth. Nothing is all evil or dark, it is a selftest. I was stuck up in Islam/Semitic Texts for years, not realizing that it was my own smartness rationalizing dangerous tenets. Human intelligence is far ahead than what we think it to be. Several Aliens/Fallen Angels perform cosmic functions of distraction. Many times for politics and some times for their own idea of fun. For them, a genocide is just like a 3D video game episode because they have been created without emotions unlike human souls who are Masters of Emotion.As long as you can connect to your heart consistently and realize your immortality, you will be safe and ok. Thanks for the self esteem booster. Time stealers take many disguises - TV, fantasy, spending, overstudying anything, indecsion... I know a few people who unfortunately feel that if the world were to blow up that would be an OK thing because it's not reality. I get where they are coming from on an intellectual level but my intuition tells me they are way off.
