Hi! I must admit that i don't know much about numerology. I am on the waiting list at the library for LG's Star Signs....Hope it's not too long (Aries moon)..lol

However, a lady at the library standing in line asked me for the day of the month i was born.. out of curiosity i told her.

It's the 24th... She said, "that is a very desirable day... most fortunate..."

Is this true? Can anyone elaborate?
I tried to search... still not working for me
Thanks....

I have a book called, The Day You Were Born. I've never felt like it was a "good" book as in something with knowledge in it worth knowing. It just doesn't ring as true as a horoscope and I see no logic in it so far other than the numerology of the two-digit number combined with the astrology sign. I only know a bit about numerology so I might just not have made a full connection yet, but so far I am not convinced.
If you want to know what it says for your date, I will look it up and type it for you later this week, but they do have good things and bad written so if you believe it's true, you might not want it shared.... it's up to you.
And if anyone wants to put the smack down on me and educate me on why it IS an accurate book, I welcome the teaching!

Also, StarG, my daughter has an Aries moon and I would love to hear any comments on your moon and how you feel it affects you.

Mystic...I believe i have read this. My b-day is 8/24 which i believe is the day of astute examination... if this is the same book then yes, it is hit or miss... if not, then yes i would love it.. only if you have time...

Aries moon.... impatient, impulsive and very independent. When i was a child, it was very important that i had lots to do... this made me feel safe and secure... I was quite the rebel and did not like to be told what to do....I responded to emotion much better than to reason... Very self-motivated and inclined to think and feel with my ego....i seemed very tough on the outside but needed alot of reassurance from my parents.... i was and still am the "instigator"..lol Hope that helps?
If you have a more specific question, feel free to ask.

Regarding getting star signs from the library....

I know as soon as you explore it, you'll go out and buy your own copy.
Plus, there are too many sneaky things in there that come at you only when you are ready.
It isn't a book to borrow ( it IS a book to lend, though...) PLus you'll want to make notes in the margins.
That's just my take on it, anyway.

24 is a great number. Look it up in star signs. I am envious of that number. I have known people with it and just like they say, everything good comes so easy to these folks. Its has a negative side too but you can read it. The good far outweighs the bad.

Actually that helps SO much. I HAVE noticed that my daughter responds more to emotion than to reason or logic. My airy logic and earth reasoning should work in MY mind, but what really works is the emotion. When she is throwing a tantrum and I tell her that I will give her a hug if that will help, she will only accept the hug if I am being sincerely caring and generous. If I am feeling impatient when I offer she will continue to escalate our interaction until we are both yelling and crying or I am putting her into time out so that *I* CAN HAVE A TIME OUT!
I read like crazy and have read dozens of parenting books, read parenting pamphlets, mag articles, etc and participate in parenting groups etc and I still sometimes look at her and wonder what the heck I did to mess her up so much that she would act the way she does when she is mad. And then true to Aries moon, just like that, she is better and comes up to kiss and snuggle her frazzled Libra mommy who sits shaken and wide-eyed. And the key to toddlers is Never Let 'Em See You Scared, so I'm hangin' on for dear life here.

I will also try to be more aware of her need to have lots of things to do. She does always behaved when we have spent days running around to the park, bike rides, family events etc. I just assumed that was "normal" kid stuff, but I can understand how someone with that strong of an Aries influence on their emotions might need extra activity to balance their emotions also...

Ok, different book, I will start to type some...

Virgo 6

Purpose: To use your desire for truth and justice to either challenge society by opposing all it holds dear, or by immersing yourself within the system, keeping tempations and desires at bay while you use your great charisma and charm to persuade others to see your point of view. "Let the universe handle the details." - Deepak Chopra. This is simple when you have faith, impossible when you don't. The Virgo/Sixes are perfectionists, ignore others and do their own thing. With the Viro/Six there's seldom a middle road. Self-acceptance is the key here. They can easily be driven by desires. Style is a gift. If they've chosen not to fit in, they are crude and upsetting. If truth is their choice rather than beauty, justice and the law may attract them. They have a keen awareness of how things work and what makes oeeple tick. The Virgo/Six should know that restlessness and divine discontent will always be present.

IF SPIRIT TAKES THE LEAD: When Spirit is ahead with the number Six, a very special soul emerges. They have the ability oto connject with anyone, anywhere. Their adaptability allows them to go places others can't. A need to please could be a problem, particularly if they don't have a clear picture of themselves. Faith and a desire to be perfect keeps them restless and unhappy. Spiritual leaders, seekers of th truth, or just plain charming, they slide through life. They need innner discipline; they world won't give it to them. They love beauty and seek it in all things. They must learn how to say no.

IF EGO TAKES THE LEAD: With Ego strong, there is a love of anything that brings pleasure. They can charm the snake back into the basket, and do it with a smile. Con men, salesmen, or just partygoers, society loves them when they're refined, and ignores them if they're crude. Either they play life's game extremely well, or are rebels who love to stir up trouble . They always get their way.

Well, it DOES say you "slide through life" and
Thirteen said that 24 is a number that allows things to come to you with ease... I guess it may be accurate according to numerology and I don't have enough of an understanding of numerology yet. since you and Pixie mentioned Star Signs, I will look up 24 for you.

Linda says that 24 is Love-Money-Creativity and that the number is most fortunate. Says it is a number of "Karmic Reward" and that it is earned justly in past incarnations. Linda says you will be successful in business/career and also find happiness in love. Says if you get arrogant because of this ease you will get stuck with a bad number next time around. She warns you to appreciate it and to not take a "careless attitude towards spiritual values." She says not to be promiscuous and to avoid overindulgences of other kinds. (p.259 Star Signs)

I think that explanation for 24 is meant to be for your full birthday total, not just day of birth. In Chapter 2 she gives an explantion of the numbers for your DAY of birth,(you are a 6) and says the compound numbers are for your entire birthdate or name.

Nope, guess it is for both. I will let you have your fun and research your numbers when you get the book.
