I used to love Egyptology, but I get so frustrated now by the humaness of the people that control the "history" namely Zahi. From everything that I've read (which I must admit is pretty biased) it just seems that people today only want to learn what they're prepared for. They love Ramses and the tombs, but the massive boats found in the middle of the desert are just ignored. They currenty have a boat museum outside the main pyramid, but I want them to admit that maybe there were floods or something back then. Why so many massive boats in the desert? I just they cover a lot of stuff up, so I can't trust anything I read any more, but that's life and our current state of evolution.

Maybe when Zahi leaves we might see some real progress in understanding this stuff. He seems very political.
